The hotel is undeniably beautiful, but there are a few caveats.
Cons: Hotel is huge! From our room to the front desk (where the valet, restaurant, and pool are), it was about a 15-minute walk. They did tell us at the end of our stay you could request a golf cart to come pick you up, but by the time they would actually get there and take you back, I would assume it would take just as long. It is not just the one building; there are, I believe, 9 buildings.
- There are also no mosquito/window screens in the rooms, so there were some mosquitoes/flies in the room.
- The pool is quite nice, but there are lots of children!
- To use the hot tubs, you need to schedule a time, which no one told us, so by the time we found out, it was all booked until the end of our stay.
Pros: Breakfast is really good, lots of options (omelets, tapiocas, eggs, cheeses, breads, meats...).
- Beds are really comfy, and rooms are very spacious.
- Front desk staff and valet are very nice and helpful.
