I stayed at this hotel for several days and expected a good experience, but it fell short. There were two main issues: Inconsistent Information: When I checked in, I confirmed certain details multiple times, but three staff members gave me three different answers! One was very firm in saying "no," while another later said "yes." This inconsistency forced me to pay for an extra day. The lack of follow-through on their promises was extremely frustrating. It’s infuriating! High Deposit & Slow Refund: The $150 deposit was relatively high, and I was told it would be refunded within 7-15 business days. It’s now been two full weeks since I left. Other Notes: Cleanliness: It was okay at first, but after three days, the cleaning became less thorough—maybe because I didn’t tip? Location: Not ideal for going out at night. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Our car was vandalized, we saw a mouse on the motel sidewalk, the blanket was barely thicker than thw very cheap sheets, had to ask for more towels and rags immediately, three pillows for two people, smelled old, rough neighborhood, several blocks from amenities.

Fee is nonrefundable. There is a$150 Deposit fee. Not all hotels in San Francisco have deposits most of the time they are $50-$100. Deposit is not returned immediately… which is inconvenient. Take everything out of your car there’s a lot of people walking through the main Street alleyway. Other than that nice and quiet!!!

I’ve stayed at this property many times, and unfortunately the experience has consistently declined to the point where I can no longer recommend it.During multiple stays, I checked into rooms that were clearly not cleaned properly: food left in the refrigerator from previous guests, cigarette burns in the sheets, holes in the walls, and only a thin blanket provided in the winter. I often had to bring my own blanket just to be comfortable.The environment around the property is also concerning. There are frequently people sitting near the steps yelling or making loud noise late at night, which makes the area feel unsafe and poorly monitored.The final issue came when I arrived for a recent stay and was told I had been placed on a “ban list” for supposedly leaving rooms dirty. This was surprising and unfair, given that I’ve never left a room in poor condition—and especially considering the state of the rooms I was repeatedly given. When I tried to explain this, the front desk attendant simply told me, “You always have the option not to stay here,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional for a hospitality setting.I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never had an issue like this. The room was ok, it worked for what I was ultimately coming up there to do, and that's just be a place where I can ultimately have some space and lay my head down at. The price was reasonable, I could hear my neighbors working making more humans while I was there. Maybe some sound insulation would be great to add into the rooms so guests won't have to be exposed to what the other guests are doing? Because, yikes. I would have not liked for that to be a memory for me to recall. Outside of all the items I just listed, this location isn't the best, and it isn't the worse. To be fair they have maintenance crew that do their job and the front desk staff was very helpful and professional.
