A most wonderful hotel from the cleanliness of all areas to the decor . Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. Soft towels were very welcome as was the very comfortable bed. The receptionists were the best I’ve come across on all my stays in Ireland and abroad . Full marks for a super hotel

This place is amazing. Stunning hotel, walks, golf course, SPA, customer service all excellent. We surely get back there soon. From checking in to checking out there was not a thing we could fail that place with. Many thanks to Ramona from The Seven bar, outstanding customer service skills, especially with my young boy👏

2/10 Poor

I would not stay here again. The staff left a lot to be desired. I found them abrupt and unhelpful throughout my stay. Basic etiquette and training absent across the board. For breakfast, I was first to be seated and no one came near me to offer me tea or a cooked breakfast after I had finished with the continental portion. When others were served before me, I left as I had to be on the road after half an hour. For the price of the accommodation, this was appalling service and not something I've experienced in any other hotel. What I had from the continental was nice and I never got to experience the cooked breakfast, which of course was part of the room price. For dinner, the prawn cocktail was 15 euros and the fish and chips was 25 euros and I would describe each as half portions compared to other hotels. The room was pleasant and I slept well but there are certainly better options out there in terms of a 4 star hotel. Save your money and look elsewhere.

This was a lovely hotel with great food, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and the staff were very helpful. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms was annoying. This might not always be an issue, but it was when we were there as the rooms were extremely hot. We asked for fans and these were then provided which did help. The other issue was the number of guests smoking right at the front door so that we had to walk through a cloud of smoke on the way in. It wasn’t the best first impression of the hotel, especially when travelling with small children who also had to go through this. We asked if there was a side door we could use but were told there was not. On the whole, we did enjoy our stay and we would recommend The Heritage.

8/10 Very good

Staff are fantastic, food is good, room is comfortable. Only recommendation is to have a proper mini fridge in the room would be so much nicer than the cooler box/fridge thing they have. And also aircon wld be nicer than a noisy fan. Otherwise it’s a fantastic venue

Impressive hotel. Check-in was easy and staff at reception very helpful. Bar food was excellent for lunch, very tasty. Evening meal in Blake’s Restaurant was nice but nothing special. Had an after dinner Calypso Coffee and it was served in an ordinary coffee mug which was odd. Lovely walking amenities around the grounds. Rooms really nice with lovely views and very clean.
