Although a little tired and in need of a freshen up, and although there was a slight drain smell from our shower (not enough to complain about) the room was spacious, clean and well furnished. It had a beautiful view over the golf course. The main downside was the mattress which was a little hard and probably a bit worn out. Otherwise it was lovely and the staff were great overall. The gym and pool were also lovely, and complimentary to hotel guests.

Pleasant swim in the morning, only two lanes and people swimming here there and everywhereso difficult to swim in straight line. Changing rooms tired and need updating. Enjoyed my stay though.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. After trying to get a taxi without success and having an injured leg, the front desk staff arranged for one of the other members of the team to drive us to the train station. They went above and beyond and it was really appreciated.
