Lovely hotel and great staff. We were greeted on arrival by Niamh on reception and she was lovely very cheerful and helpful made us so welcome. The breakfast and food is lovely and plentiful. The thermal suite is great to unwind and relax in and the outdoor jacuzzi great. We have stayed here several times and love it. Hope to be back soon 10/10

I’ll preface this with I am an American. The staff and restaurant and bed and location was amazing. That was about it. No wash rags for the bath. Shower door was broken. Drain cover was broken. Almost made the wife fall. Hot room. Not the best. All good though.

4/10 Fair

Receptionist not very welcoming and had to replace my key cause the lock would not work and told me it was my fault for having the key near my phone ! Even though it was the lock was damaged on the room . I choose to stay there to use the pool and sauna after working to discover there a €40 charge and you have to book in advance to use “terminal spa” did see this on booking . Over all hotel room was nice and breakfast choice was good but spa charge was excessive to use a pool and sauna .

Beautiful property and great staff! Very clean; food and drink prices are reasonable. Not all that close, however, to any town or village if you're on foot. All in all a very good experience!

Beautiful hotel convenient to Dublin and Airport

Dunboyne Castle Hotel is very nice. Our stay there was quite comfortable, convenient to Dublin, clean, and quiet. Service was top notch and the trails around the property were lovely. Dunboyne Village is very cute with coffee shops and pubs available. However, the Ivy restaurant at Dunboyne Castle Hotel was excellent for dinner, it definitely is a four star hotel, bordering on five.

Disappointed by the Linen

We stayed for 1 day for a wedding, room was basic. Had adjoining doors, didn’t like that. One complaint, the linen was not to standard. One hand towel had a black mark, pillow cases had black mark.

Very Good

A lovely night away and the food was lovely. Check out is seamless and a lovely lady Fiona on the desk is a friendly and happy face a great addition to any hotel.

8/10 Very good

Lovely setting, excellent friendly staff.

The hotel staff brilliant in reception and bar. I chose hotel for location and the Spa looked amazing online. I arrived late and was disappointed that the Spa closed at 7pm and reopens 9am so didn’t get to use it. The reception kindly opened gym for me but couldn’t use the fantastic Spa. The GYM is being renovated and has signs advertising this so that was fine it looked tired, however no wipes or towels to clean down equipment. I had to ask for iron as none in the room and again reception sorted it. I didnt notice until the morning no hairdryer either and at £140 per night dissapointed.

Great service

Excellent reception staff - very personable and so welcoming. Bar staff very well presented and polite. The room was very clean and spacious and very peaceful and quiet at night. Lovely breakfast in the morning. I was with my two girls for á competition in Dublin and we had a lovely time walking around the grounds. They felt so welcome and the reception staff in particular were so friendly and kind and spent time chatting to them. We’ll definitely be back!
