you pay what you get and it is more than that

the price of the new york hotel is super expensive nowdays. For this price，very convenient location to PATH, the train to new york with supermarket nearby. i feel very satisfied. Moreover, the staff there are very helpful. i spent 3 nights there. Just 1/2dats at the monrong，i dont know which floor, they have something sound like knocking since 8am.

kitchen’s equipment is doing well. But accessories status is not. Bed is comfortable, while sofa bed is not very clean. Location is good, which close to journal square transport center. No room maintenance , but front desk are easy to communicate.

The room was cleaned once during the 9 night stay and it was sparkling again. Wish they clean atleast on alternate days. That could keep cockroaches and rats at Bay in the Journal square area

Customer service was not good. I booked this for a night as a surprise for someone who Unfortunately got sick and there was nothing they could do or I should say would do to help me with some kind of refund. I wasn’t asking for a full refund but something would have went a long way considering things happened that were out of my control. Very disappointed I understand there’s a reason for having a “no refund” policy (which is not good for business in my opinion) but these were extenuating circumstances.

Clean and spacious rooms. Short walk and subway ride to Manhattan. Had absolutely no problems. Highly recommend if you’re looking to save some money by not staying directly in the city.

We were assigned the corner unit, the street noise was bad. after 2 in the morning it slowed down some, but who wants to wait till 2 in the morning to sleep. Also the window had a draft of very cold air my husband tried to cover it with pillows but nothing worked. The area is under a major construction project and the streets are blocked off. Overall I wouldn't stay there again.

As a Marriot Elite Member, We truly enjoyed our stay! Room was nicely cleaned. It’s an Older building, so cracks are expected. The bed was a little uncomfortable, there’s to 2 twin beds pushed together as a king bed. My husband was sleeping slight lower than my side, not as comfortable. But we did rest . It was extremely cold outdoors. The heater worked perfectly. The room and bathroom was renovated. Very nice. Within budget ! So we appreciate that! All of the local hotels were really expensive , this hotel was very affordable and worth the price. Overall we would definitely visit again. Located in Little India. Let than 2 blocks from Journal Square Path Train. 4 stops from NYC. We will be back soon :-)
