Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea / coffee (but no biscuits or water), excellent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Outside seating area by the bar was lovely, restaurant clean. All staff we came across were approachable and professional. Single only downside was that guests slamming doors during the night was very loud. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Room was in an annex, smelled damp and musty, heat came on without turning it on and could not cool the room again. One mornings’ room service breakfast was 15 mins early and the next was an hour late. The bed was worn down and uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin, I heard everything from the hallway and the lodger above me.

The hotel is more like a slightly better Travelodge than a nicer hotel. No soul to it. You have to pay for parking. Breakfast however was lovely, as were the staff who were helping in the breakfast room.

It is a very nice venue. Very welcoming and very happy to allow my daughter in to our room to decorate it for my 70th birthday surprise. My only gripe is the prices of the alcoholic drinks. £5.50 for a bottle of Peroni and £11.60 for a double Disarono !! The buffet breakfast had everything you could ask for and well cooked. The staff were very welcoming and happy to please.
