This was the most delightful hotel stay I have ever had. What a gorgeous property! Rooms were beautiful and immaculate, including blackout curtains and a lovely bathtub. Room service brought a pop-out table! And, we adored the breakfast, sauna, pool, and gym. We sure hope to be back again someday.

Breakfast location has moved to golf house but found it, attentive staff but not very obvious how to gain breakfast and order. Tracked someone down eventually. Good buffet selection and nice fresh omelette. Room was too warm, temp controls must have been in there somewhere so didn’t sleep well. Lovely location

We have stayed before but this time it lost its charm. The attention to detail was the charm of the hotel which was lost. The breakfast was previously in Kathleen’s kitchen and was the primary reason we rebooked - this time it was in the golf club and it was terrible - both service and food quality. Kathleen’s kitchen didn’t fail to disappoint - it was great

The Carton House was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. The staff were attentive and kind, the hotel itself is gorgeous, and they have the most beautiful walking trails into the nearby town of Maynooth. We had an early flight with our young children in the morning, and the staff prepared breakfast to go for the car. Every detail was on point. Would recommend and stay at the Carton House again!

The following morning breakfast reserved in Kathleen’s Kitchen. The food was excellent. The ambience was too formal for breakfast. Some of the waiters did not enquire how one was or asked about the menu. Fine for dinner but could less formal in the morning

Absolutely beautiful property. Be sure to take the tour of the house. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. The staff was so friendly. Close enough to Dublin. We would absolutely stay there again.
