We enjoyed our second stay here. The staff were great, the included breakfast got us going in the morning. The hotel is minutes away from Paddington Station which we found very helpful. There are lots of restaurants and some express grocery stores. They have a small elevator which is helpful and air conditioning. We stayed in July so we really appreciated the air conditioning. We would stay again.

Staff was very nice. Hotel is older but clean. Location is very close to Paddington station which makes it super convenient. They need new mattresses but they are not horrible.

I had nothing but a positive and wonderful experience at the Days Inn here. The front desk staff members were so kind and courteous. They were able to accommodate my earlier check in on such short notice. Aside from the wonderful staff, the hotel is an affordable cost and in a good location for both things to do and for transportation purposes. The hotel is close to Paddington Station, a huge hub for multiple tube lines and if you’re traveling from LHR. My only comments would be that the rooms were a bit old and the complimentary breakfast wasn’t that great. Even though the room felt dated, the room itself was sufficient for my stay! I’d recommend to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in a good location

Good Location and Comfortable Room

The Days Inn, Hyde Park has an excellent location - just a short walk to Paddington Station (Heathrow Express/Elizabeth line and GRW rail) but located out of full traffic/tourist rush. Solid restaurants are just around the corner if you want or need dining within a short distance. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have experienced in mid-range budget London hotels. I will definitely look to book here again on my next visit.

Staff were wonderfully understanding and helpful when we were stranded during the Heathrow fire. Room was comfortable enough but could use a deep cleaning and some minor maintenance (window difficult to open, blind broken) and adding fans in the room would be a major improvement. I booked the hotel because the website stated the property has air conditioning- it does not and the weather was unseasonably warm. Breakfast was included which was a big bonus, but is very basic and would be a challenge for a stay longer than 2 days. Fantastic location for our needs and would stay again in the colder months.

2 nights at Days Inn Hyde Park

Great 2 night stay, very friendly and helpful staff, great to find affordable parking in central London, outside the conjestion charge area. Triple Room, but only me in it, very comfortable, good bed, pillows a bit flat, bathroom small but well appointed. Shower head was broken and door handle loose - reported. Very Very clean in all aspects. Good tv, tea and coffee making facilities, Openable window onto internal courtyard. Lighting ok. Some sockets. Quiet as at the back on ground floor to far end. Good breakfast downstairs in basement. Good blackout curtains. Very close to Paddington Station and Elizabeth Line - 3 minute walk.

RUN from this hotel!! do not expect it to be a Days Inn as you know it. I can’t believe I paid over $250 a night for this dump. It’s a 100 plus year-old barely refurbished house with teeny tiny rooms. The air conditioning doesn’t work. The windows don’t close. You get one rough towel. There’s nothing other than hand soap. The rooms are 10 x 8 if that. The first room (which I refused to take Was down one floor then down three halls, past an open supply closet with mop and bucket hanging out and maybe 6 x 6 with a cot in it. Not even a Window.) I wouldn’t even walk in it. The staff was very unhelpful. Stay away from this place. Days Inn should be ashamed to have their name on this.

I was slightly skeptical after booking and reading some reviews. However. It was clean and tidy. Front of house staff were very helpful and it was a good base for one night in London. Literally a stones through from Paddington and Hyde Park.

Everything as expected!

Small room but everything was just as I expected it and I only stayed for 1 night. Nice receptionists! Fast incheck. Got my room a little earlier than 14! Breakfast ok.

Worked for one night.

The room was incredibly small. I don't know how more than one person could have used it. Front desk staff we're friendly and accommodating, getting me into the room before check-in time. Location was great for travel via Paddington, and there were quite a few restaurants nearby.

Small but satisfactory

Very good variety for the breakfast; there were a few pieces of something white on our carpet when we arrived. After housekeeping cleaned our room the first day the lint, or whatever it was, was still on the floor. The towels were very rough, like they had been line dried (which is ecologically good, but not pleasant for drying off). The Hotels.com website says that check-in is from 2 pm to midnight, so we called at midnight to say our train was late in arriving in London. The desk clerk said of course we could arrive any time, they are always open.

Great Location!!

We had a comfortable stay at Days Inn Hyde Park. Staff was welcoming and friendly! They didn't seem to mind me asking for ice bucket everyday ;-) Breakfast was way more than I expected. Toaster, wide selection of breads and spreads, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, meats and cheeses, juice, cappuccino/coffee instant machine. You don't need to go out and find a restaurant. You can have an excellent start with breakfast here. The room was small and dark. But the cabinets make it easy to store your clothing and suitcases. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. I also want to thank the previous reviews that steered us to use the express train from Heathrow. This saved us not only valuable time, but it was super convenient and after a long flight you just want to reach your hotel and crash. The hotel is in walking distance from Paddington station. As long as you are walking in the correct direction ;-)

Værelset var rent, omend en smule gammelt. Personalet venligt selvom vi ankom virkelig sent/tidligt om morgenen. Morgenmads buffetten er ikke værd at bruge penge på, selvom det kun er fem pund. Området er beskidt, der kørte et TV med fodbold og larm, der var virkelig trist “udvalg”
