TOO LOUD! If you have a room downstairs, the upstairs room floors have no soundproofing, and it sounds like a herd of elephants walking around. We also had a family to the left above us with two small kids who liked to start running back in forth in the room at 7am!!! We had to check out a day early because we couldn't sleep. Very annoying and expensive for the quality of this place. I would not recommend staying there unless you get a room upstairs. The only positive was that we could bring our dogs. The staff were very nice.

There were some cups and garbage around the property, on top of housekeeping coming and half cleaning the room. The bed was made and some trash was taken out but not all of the trash and we weren’t given new Kleenex or pool towels, since pool towels are no longer found in the storage unit by the pool area. The pool also wasn’t cleaned one day and a lot of the furniture is rusted. The indoor pool and whirlpool were also closed indefinitely and there were no smores kits. To be honest, it was such a let down from how amazing last year was.

Great stay!

Our stay at the Bluebird Dennisport was so lovely. It's very centrally located with beaches and cafes within walking distance, while still not within the main drag of the smaller downtown areas making it a very quiet and relaxing getaway. The room was beautiful and the property was lovely! My only recommendation is that they add in a water refill station so we can avoid buying plastic water bottles.

Wonderful accommodations at the Bluebird.

Enjoyed our repeat stay at the Bluebird in Dennis Port. We were greeted with a Scandanavian feel to our room. Always wonderful to have a refrigerator included, although a freezer compartment would have been appreciated. The pool area is updated and a pleasure to use. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Not worth it

The hotel seems to be ran down. Damp smelling room, ripped out fixtures in the bathroom,no room for towel or toiletries, not even one hook. Damaded table, stained bedding, microwave full of previous guests food. Molded tissues in the tissue box.Room itself contained two beds, table and tiny shelf between beds to fit two phones, opening in the wall had few hangers serving as a closet. Your luggage and belongings can only be stored on the floor. Door rattles in the frame when the wind blows. Worse of all it feels like staying under the jungle gym, every move guests above make wakes u or sounds like ceiling will collapse. Dated pool with missing tiles, rusted over furniture and fixtures. Pool cleaning I guess happens once in a while, debris is a constant. Dryout grass and look of abandonment. Parking not efficient so guests park anywhere and caused damage/dents to our car. Lobby hours laughable and management or care nonexistent. The only plus is that its pet friendly place so thats what kept us there. Not a place to stay beyond one night, no rest or relaxation by busy street location. Couple restaurants close by but nothing to come back to.Public beach -tiny.

We had a 2 bedroom condo and it the decor was so hip and up to date. The full kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the indoor gas fireplace and the whole condo was so cozy. Our kids felt like we were all at camp ,chic camp, together. Can't wait to come back.

The pool area is absolutely wonderful and was the perfect place to end up after a day at the beach. Our room was a bit small for the 4 of us (two adults / two teenagers) but we opted for a standard queen. I liked having the Ursa Major products in the bath. I also appreciated the un-carpeted floor. We liked being able to walk to Wolfies and Sundae School.

Upon checking in when asking where the beach is located the front desk assistant couldn’t tell me. I was lucky to engage with another guest who gave me all the information I was seeking. Additional questions I had also could not be answered. I think it would be helpful to train employees about the local area then have them say they don’t know or they are unsure. The next part of the/my problem was the room, it was beyond musty and overall smelly. I understand the rooms are pet friendly however the floors were very dirty as was the carpet runner. The bathrooms looked updated and very clean the little kitchen area in the room was also very clean. There weren’t any garbage receptacles on the back end of the property or by the vending machines so there was garbage piled up daily. I didn’t use housekeeping services however whenever I spoke to the ladies they were very helpful and super friendly. Overall, it appears to me as a management issue and I hope they improve upon it cause it’s a really cute location with potential. I will add there is a lovely spot two blocks away if you’re hungry, called the wee packet Inn. I did ask the front desk for a food recommendation but it required a car.

My husband and I had a reservation for the night of August 3rd. After driving two hours from Quincy, MA, we were informed at check-in that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working. We then spoke with another guest in the lobby who mentioned that an entire building had been without AC for over 24 hours. We might have stayed if there had been a meaningful discount offered, but the front desk staff said the only adjustment they could make was waiving a $22 fee. Spending over $300 for a room with no air conditioning wasn’t acceptable, so we asked to speak with a manager. The staff attempted to call someone, but no one answered. We were told a manager would be in the next day and would call us—but we never received a follow-up. For a large hospitality group that manages multiple properties, the handling of this situation was disappointing. No effort was made to alert incoming guests about the issue, yet we received several group texts throughout the day about an illegally parked car. Ultimately, we had no choice but to cancel and abandon our plans. We’ve been excited to check out the Bluebird ever since its remodel, so this was a real letdown. Unfortunately, after this experience, we’ll be avoiding any hotels operated by Lark.
