The manager was the most accommodating person you could ever encounter. We were first given a room that had an ice machine right at the front door. We requested a new room and with no fuss at all, were given another one. Rooms were incredibly clean, and the property so well maintained. We will be staying there again the next trip to Auburn.

retro design in room was pretty neat. soft close and self close sliding bathroom door was the first time i saw this and it's nice because you don't accidentally make loud noises at night when u have to go to the bathroom. the sink was big and wide ensuring most of the water returns back in to the sink.

The room was really clean, the area was very peaceful. The receptionist was very nice. Lots of areas to eat in less than a mile radius as well. Thank you for the comfort that we had staying here.

Such a fun stay at The Foothills Motel in Auburn! The room was clean, cozy, and newly renovated, and you can really feel the care and passion the owner has for this place. The decor and overall vibe totally took me back to the 1950s in the best way. I loved that it’s pet-friendly, and I am already planning to bring my dogs next time. A small dog run or off-leash area would be an awesome addition. One small note, we only had two towels in the bathroom, and a couple more would have been nice, but it definitely did not change my experience or opinion of this great little motel. The fire pits are such a cool touch! It was raining during our stay, so I did not even ask about using them, but I am really excited to try them next time. This is a gem that I want to keep a secret from the world because I know once word gets out about how great it is, it might be hard to get a room! I am very thankful for such a cozy, welcoming stay and cannot wait to come back again!

it seems to be recently renovated motel, it looks "classic", but the rooms are brand new, very clean etc; conveniently located near Auburn dountown (and on the top of the hill, so you even have a view, if it's a thing). No issues with check-in/out

This is the second time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it. Very clean, simple rooms. Cutely decorated and an incredibly lovely staff. They even take our fur babies. We will definitely be staying here again.
