Great view of the temples

This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic views over the Valley of the Temples. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with the most massive bed. Unfortunately the mattress was too firm for me so I didn’t have the most comfortable sleep but that’s just a personal preference. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of places to sit, especially to enjoy the evening view. There was a decent selection at breakfast. I’d happily stay again.

The location and view was spectacular. Quick walk for dinner or coffee. Easy to walk to Valley of the Temples. There was a large outdoor area/ garden overlooking the Mediterranean where you could sit and enjoy. The staff were always happy, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great shower. Breakfast in the mornings was fresh with a huge variety. Will definitely be coming back!

There is nothing around the hotel. It was old but clean. One could walk to the ruins but nothing else. Had to drive a distance to restaurants. Would have been quiet but a dog barked nearby for hours in the night.

This is a bit of a gem. I arrived here tired and weary having picked the hotel on a bit of a whim. I spend a glorious peaceful evening in the lounge with some excellent wine. The bedroom was spotless. Breakfast was fine and overseen by an outstanding gent who was matte d’hotel, and followed by a coffee in the beautiful garden with some lovely sunshine. The staff whether on the front desk, bar or restaurant could not have been more helpful. Overall excellent - a quiet gem in southern Sicily; thank you.

Hotel ok, careful with your visit to Sicilia

A experiência com o hotel foi positivas, mas deixo um alerta importante a todos os turistas que planeiam visitar a Sicília: há muitos grupos organizados italianos especializados em assaltar turistas, especialmente nesta zona. No segundo dia da nossa viagem, o nosso carro foi arrombado e todos os bens pessoais e documentos foram roubados e não tínhamos nada à mostra. Ao apresentar queixa na esquadra, encontrámos vários casais que tinham passado pelo mesmo. A reação da polícia siciliana foi de total indiferença o que é lamentável. Infelizmente, não voltarei nem recomendo a visita, o que é uma pena, pois a ilha tem lugares realmente bonitos. No entanto, valorizo a segurança e o bem-estar acima de tudo e aqui senti que ambos estavam gravemente comprometidos.

We wanted to stay at a hotel next to the temples. The hotel is nice and well located but the room we got was really warm despite the central air conditioning supposedly working. The lobby was fresher than our room with the AC working. Upon reporting the problem, we got a fan to cool the room down which was noisy and not cooling the room much more. We stayed at lower star hotels (3 stars) and the air conditioning worked (not like on this 4 star hotel). To top it off, when we were checking out, we mentioned we consumed 2 waters from the mini bar. The checkout staff charged us for this when they could have redeemed themselves a little bit for the warm room. Complete lack of empathy and service for the guests. I would not recommend staying in this hotel that I doubt is 4 stars.

My family of 6 recently stayed at this property and we absolutely enjoyed every min. The location is perfect to visit the Valley of the Temples. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.
