Nice updated hotel and we were able to walk to the Texas A&M campus. It was a bit far but doable. Wear good shoes but did not have to hassle with parking on the campus.

6/10 Good

Hotel itself was really clean and staff was great. We had issues with a room and they moved us with no issues. New room had very low water pressure and paid extra to have a view of Kyle Field as they advertised. Which couldn't have been easily seen, because the way the hotel was sitting. Could only see it if you were in the window looking back to the right. Mostly blocked by trees.

6/10 Good

The air conditioner was loud and did not sufficiently cool the room. There was a pretty intense leak in the lounge area during a storm. Due to being understaffed, there were long waits for checking in. The room was clean, the location was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. Friendly, clean, close to places to eat and very close to campus. Great spot. Room was nice and clean. Only negative was our room faced the parking lot on first floor so car lights flashed straight into the room. Make sure there are no cracks with blackout curtain.

Room was super tiny along with shower. Felt very cramped. Paid for breakfast ...shouldn't have. Also no real coffee in the room. Espresso pods making only up to 3oz .

6/10 Good

The air in the entire place was stuffy. It was like there was poor ventilation or something. Even though it was pretty cool outside, I was glad to walk out and get some fresh air. Hotel was overpriced, even with renovations being done.

Overall stay was ok. We weren’t aware that the hotel changed the breakfast layout. It used to be a buffet breakfast but it’s now a sit-down, order and wait. I would’ve appreciated the heads up for game day planning.

6/10 Good

The room was in great condition very clean. The staff at the front desk were kind, bed was very nice but we didn't get to enjoy a good night's sleep. We didn’t take part in the pool, bar/restaurants but a lot of people were and seemed to be enjoying their time. Our biggest and only complaint was the noise! We were on the 4th floor and the walls are paper thin! You can hear other guest stomping around the hall and you can VERY clearly hear other guest around you using the restroom no just the toilet flushing but actively voiding, even with the television on (it was worse than beings on a cruise ship). This was quite unfortunate as we had to be up early and were awakened by kids and people walking down the hall and slamming of doors. Our only other complaint which was the price gouging that happened. We booked this hotel the weekend of the ice storm and the rate was 160 + fee. We had to cancel due to the storm we rebooked for feb 7th and were charged 230+ fees same room ,on a weekend as the previous booking was. All because there was a college basketball game in the area. I get that happens everywhere and said whatever and this is worth it because its a luxury boutique hotel, but truly the noise! For a luxury hotel the walls shouldn't be so thin. We would have rather stayed at a La Quintana and be charged the same price (which it was, we checked). lever
