Der erste Eindruck des Gebäudes war deprimierend. Der Empfang war dann super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Uns wurde mitgeteilt dass wir ein Upgrade auf die Präsidentensuite bekommen würden. Wir wurden ins Zimmer gebracht und es war sehr großzügig und mit viel Komfort ausgestattet. Zwei Bäder. Zwei Schlafzimmer. Ein riesiger Fernseher. Blick vom Bett auf die Akropolis. Alles sehr schön und sauber. Frühstücken im obersten Stockwerk. Reichhaltig. Abwechslungsreiches Buffet. Wieder sehr freundlicher Service.

This hotel was beautiful, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! It was a beautiful location and super close to everything that we wanted to do! The only issue we had was how loud it was at night when we were trying to go to bed. We could hear everything That was going on outside or at the bar above us.

Great location, Great price but VERY noisy! The bar/restaurant on the Terrace turns into a “nightclub bar” around 9pm. I’m talking loud music and cars. Didn’t bother me. Right in front of Monastiraki Square with the best night life! Walking distance to ALL major attractions. Highly recommend for all who can sleep through anything like me.

Great great great location. We stayed here for 4 nights after a cruise. The hotel is ideally located walking distance to all major sights. Everything is easily accessible, shopping, dining, snacks, grocery, dozens of coffee options, train and metro, and amazing view of Acropolis. Unfortunately, the only hiccup while visiting was 1 of the 2 elevators stopped working. Everyone managed but you need to be just a bit patient. The reception desk is very friendly and can help with walking maps and directions and even suggestions. I am so glad we picked this place.

Sehr zentral - wirklich im Auge des Geschehens - gelegenes Hotel. Unser Zimmer (Präsidenten-Suite) war sehr geräumig und in einem guten Zustand. Besonders positiv war der Steinboden, der sich gut reinigen lässt und einen hygienischen Eindruck vermittelt. Die beiden Schlafzimmer verfügen über bequeme Betten und die beiden Badezimmer sind ebenfalls geräumig und zweckmässig. Die Beleuchtung mit den entsprechenden Lichtschaltern war eher unpraktisch und die Sensoren der Alarmanlage in den Schlafzimmern verbreiteten leider ein unangenehmes, helles blaues Licht. Wer zum Schlafen ein sehr dunkles Zimmer haben möchte, ist hier allenfalls nicht optimal untergebracht. Die zentrale Lage ist super! Alles ist schnell zu Fuss (oder per Metro) erreichbar und es hat jede Menge Restaurants, Bars, Shops und vieles mehr in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel. Auch die Nachtschwärmer kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Der Blick auf die Akropolis ist ebenfalls zauberhaft (die Häuser in unmittelbarer Nähe hingegen weniger...). Wir wurden vom Rezeptionisten ins Zimmer geleitet und uns wurde persönlich alles gezeigt (findet man inzwischen selten). Auch das Deponieren des Gepäcks am Abreisetag war unproblematisch. Überhaupt war das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir können das Hotel für einen City-Trip daher empfehlen.

Friendly and efficient staff. Very easy check in and check out. Luggage storage also available. Our room was very large with a big modern bathroom. Everything was very clean and the beds were the most comfortable we had for our 3 week holiday around Europe. Only the lifts, being shared with those non guests needing to access the rooftop bar, were slow. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Best location too!

Jättebra läge vid Monastiraki torg. Nära till Metro och tåg för transport till flygplatsen och andra ställen. Fin utsikt mot Akropolis, lätt att gå till båda ingångarna, även för en 10-åring. Mycket restauranger och shopping nära. Vi hade två olika rum då vi behövde förlänga vår vistelse med kort varsel. Renligheten var sådär i vårt första rum, vilket personalen fick veta. Tyvärr gjorde de inget åt det. Nästa rum var rent. Frukosten var sådär. Bra med grekisk yoghurt. Saknade färsk frukt och smaksatta teer. Takbaren tillhör inte hotellet, du behöver boka bord om du vill ta en drink eller äta där. Det visste inte vi men personalen där uppe ordnade ett bord för två så vi kunde ta en drink på kvällen.

Extremely convenient location - steps away from Monastiraki Square shops, restaurants and metro station. We had a large city view suite for 4 adults. The bathroom was clean and modern and a pleasure to use. The beds were the most comfortable of our month long trip through Egypt and Greece. We dined at the restaurant for breakfast on 2 occasions. The buffet offered a wide choice of breakfast options. Staff at the hotel are great! So friendly, welcoming and ever ready to help. We greatly appreciated this and felt very welcome. Everything was fabulous and we stayed here twice on this trip, both at the start and end of our holiday and will definitely stay again if we are ever fortunate enough to travel to Athens again. Only downside would be the shared elevators. Just have patience as they are always busy.

We enjoyed our stay at Athens Hotel Tower! The room was clean and the rooftop restaurant was delicious with a stunning view of the Acropolis. The entrance is a little uninviting but the location is super. The bathroom was very tight.
