As a frequent traveler due to work, i often stay at this motel, cost effective. clean, customer service is excellent and they considerate in all issues you may encounter. Rooms were excellently remodeled, unique room interior and most of all close to all great chinese restaurant. Kudos to folks in the front desk Jonathan and Ian, amazing customer service care. Over all, you get what you paid for and i highly recommend this to travelers to LA area.

Because of the historical architecture I've wanted to stay here for years. I live about a mile away so I never had an excuse until our power went out for over a day in an historical heatwave. Having a baby and a five year old we didn't feel like we could wait it out at home any longer. Royal Pagoda to rescue! No price-gouging. They accommodated us quickly, late at night and were so kind as we moved the kids in. It was just what we needed- a clean, air conditioned, affordable, safe place for the night close to home. It is incredibly good value, especially for Los Angeles. Thank you!

This is a great deal for the price. Good location. Close to Downtown, Olvera Street, Arts District , Disney Concert Hall… Easy freeway access, in the heart of China Town. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is older and rooms show some wear. Parking is very limited but there is street parking not far (free). I would happily stay again.

I really enjoy staying here. I like the people who work here. They all have a positive attitude and are very attentive. If you treat them and the facility good, they are going to take care of you in return. The location couldn’t be better as well.
