Would recommend this place for solo travellers. It felt very safe and I loved the peace and quiet I had in my room. The location was also great. I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to go to, which were usually 25-30 minutes away and I didn't mind the walk when the weather was so lovely. If not, St.Paul's station was just a couple of minutes away. The only thing I struggled with was the air con, but a quick Google, helped me figure out how to turn it off, which was super simple. I was also really grateful that the hotel kept my luggage after an early checkout, so I could continue exploring the city without having to drag it around. Overall, I'd definitely book here again.

The room was superb and the room amenities.The hotel is in a great location. The only downside was the staff member that served us at check-in; she asked to see some ID which I've never had to do for a domestic booking, and was presumptuous. When I addressed this, the customer service deteriorated and regrettably we weren't asked any common courtesy questions or given any basic explanations about the hotel facilities. Thankfully the Duty Manager stepped in and rectified the situation.
