Tired hotel, over-priced, unfriendly staff

The hotel's location is good, and that's all there is that is good. Also, there are plenty other hotels with good locations that are better and cheaper in Alicante. Hotel is tired, staff are unfriendly, even the shower is over the bath, like the 70's!! Needs a serious refresh.

A bad experience!

Our room had no toolet paper and was provided with a single towel and that was a hand towel. Lighting was supplied by 3 lamps and one had its bulb burned out. The next morning I had to take a cold shower because the hot water was not getting to the room and the responsible technician did not arrive until 10. There was no enclosure for the shower so the whole bathroom floor got wet after each shower.

Too many issues

First, the room smelled. As soon as I walked in, it smelled stale like it had been sealed up for 6 months. I had to open the window to air it out. The shower was awful. You needed a pole vault to get into the bathtub. Once in the shower you could barely move between the glass partition and the metal soap dish/hand bar. It was so tight you could barely lift your arms over your head. The water temperature was a nightmare. You would get it to the temperature that was comfortable and then all of a sudden it would be scolding hot, and you would jump away. It was one of those sliding handheld ones too and it didn't stay in place. Totally annoying. The water pressure was quite low, so it took forever to wash off any soap. The floor in the room was a laminate wood and was scratched and coming up in different places. No one was in the room next to me until the last night. Whoever stayed there came in around 1am and it sounded like they were walking a horse around the room. The hotel is on a busy street and on the one side, where my room was an alleyway where people would hang out at 1 & 2am drunk and the noise would echo through the alleyway off the buildings. The last night between doors slamming, the person walking the horse in the next room and the loud alleyway noise, I got maybe 2 hours sleep. The location was good, and the staff was nice so that was a plus. I would have to say based on the negative things I mentioned, I doubt I will stay there again.

Helt greit hotell.

Greit men litt lite rom i forhold til mange andre hotell jeg har bodd på i Spania. Midt i smørøyet om du vil bo sentralt i byen. Masse restauranter, kaféer og barer i nærområdet. Frokosten var helt grei og servicen var topp i resepsjonen og restauranten på hotellet.

Keine ruhigen Nächte

Wir hatten das Zimmer 1004 im obersten Stockwerk. Leider hatte das Fenster keine ausreichende Fensterabdichtung gegen Lärm mehr. Wir haben die ganze Nacht den Strassenlärm mitbekommen, so als wäre das Fenster offen. Auch die nächtlichen Gesänge der Gruppen waren laut hörbar. Das Thema Lärm bemängelten auch andere Gäste. Laut Hotelmitarbeiter soll ab 2026 renoviert werden

Sentralt plassert hotel med store og moderne rom

Et svært sentralt beliggende hotell, like ved gamlebyen i Alicante, med mange og gode restauranter i nærheten. Kort avstand til havneområdet. Frokosten var god med en hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening. Vi fikk også rabattert parkering i et nærliggende parkeringshus. Det eneste som trekker litt ned, er at sengene var ganske harde. Vi hadde også litt moro med at rengjøringspersonalet hver dag glemte igjen en ny ting på rommet vårt – små detaljer som ga oss noe å le av.

Handy location.

Very nice hotel centrally located and opposite the fascinating market. The bus from the airport stops right across the road which is really useful. Could not control the heating/air conditioning in the room, so had to have the window open all night which meant I could hear the street noise and neighbours talking until the early hours.
