Spacious room at a large hotel reasonably close to the royal citadel. Large buffet breakfast with very good selection. Professionel kind and polite staff. Pool area is totally open to viewers and noise from the street which is not nice.

It’s a bit aged but size of the rooms were ok. Staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast buffet spread was good. The spa next door is not that great. It smelled very moldy probably because of the flood they had in 2023.

Zucca an Italian restaurant is close by and has excellent food. Hotel breakfast is big with many choices. Pool is refreshing but too hot to walk on the pavement barefoot, as well as the ladder and side rails burn your hands. Many cyclos to use to get around and reasonably priced.. negotiate. Bars across the street are loud as is street noise so try to get a room on the river side.

Wonderful stay, in wonderful Hue!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Walkable to Citadel and a block or two away from the weekend night markets. Pic is from our riverfront room - truly magocal at sunrise and sunset. Sparkling pool, spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely, and that makes your stay lovely. Shout out to Loi, who is a legend. :) Will stay again!

Was a bit of noise from the nightclub across the road. Also couldn't use the sauna as it was part of the spa services! Machines in gym were a bit old. We booked because of the pool but unfortunately it rained our entire stay.

In the past this hotel must have been glorious, but today lacks maintenance and renovations. Except a brand new mattress, all was very dated. The decor is an interesting feature of this hotel, which many people might like. I would have loved it if the due maintenance was done over the years. The staff is fantastic, a service that you would expect in the best hotels. Very attentive, professional and kind. I've got a free upgrade, with a river view, that was a big plus.

This hotel, like most of Hue is quite dated. The room was huge and facilities many and regally appointed, but quality has lapsed without good maintenance. The gym was mostly unusable and the pool passable, luckily it was raining (as Hue does often) so I had no desire to check the water quality.

Not 4 stars as it’s supposed to be. More like 2.5. Great view of the river, and must have been grand in its early days (pre American war), But the hotel needs serious update. The whole property smells musty and damp. The bed is hard, lumpy and so uncomfortable. Breakfast was meh… The only thing made it worthwhile was the wonderful staff.

Miss this one

It may have once been a 4 star, but no longer. Check in couldn't find my booking, and then had to make a phone call to find it. To then be told my room would be 30 minutes. Even though I had advised them of my arrival time. This was soon rectified when I reminded them of this. The room was very dated, although comfortable. The bathroom was dirty, hairs and an unemptied bin. The shower over bath was not very suitable for our children, nor for an adult when showering next to a glass window! On arrival I had to call maintenance as we had live electrical cable in a largish switch box next to my children's bed exposed Mid way through our stay we lost hot water. On calling maintenance, 30 minutes later, we were fixed. To be then told it would take 15 minutes to heat up. Not handy when trying to get the kids to bed. First night we realised our room, although at the back of the hotel, was still subjected to the noise from the nightclub over the road which continued into the early hours. Room servicing made our bed and changed our sheets, and kindly switched.of our AC, so on a return we had to wait for the AC in the room to take effect. First breakfast, I found that all of the pork products were under an inadequate lamp to keep them warm. They were stone cold. I advised them of this and they went and reheated me a plate full. No thanks! So they went and got me a new plate. Still cold. I took my kids to the pool to find it outside, unheated with an empty jacuzzi, so I fa
