Excellent accommodations with a great view. Hosts were very welcoming and had good information about the town. Darkest room I slept in for the entire week while having the biggest windows on two sides!

The room was very nice and quiet and the town is very cute. The only things that I would mention is that it is a shared bathroom and there are quite a few steps to get up from the street. If that's ok with you, I highly recommend. Get out of the Golden Circle and see the real Iceland.

We loved the view from our little cottage! The cottage itself was clean, very well decorated and equiped with all the amenities we needed. A few steps from the small but charming village also. We also enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool ! The owners were very welcoming and quick to help us with our inquiries. I would definitely recommend !

Alles sehr gepflegt, einfach perfekt. Unsere beste Unterkunft in Island. Siglufjördur ist ein ruhige, wunderschöne kleiner Stadt.

Herring House is a great place to stay--I enjoyed it immensely. I booked one of the cabins which included access to an outdoor shower. Although somewhat skeptical, the proprietor, Helga, convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did--truly an amazing experience even though the temperature was a little above freezing. The accommodation was extremely clean and ideally situated with restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Siglufjörður.
