BEST HOTEL STAY!

My stay was marvellous. I added my boyfriend to the stay but he couldn’t make it due to documentation and I had completely forgot about it, upon arrival the room was decorated with rose petals and a fruit hamper style plate which I LOVED. I really appreciated the touch even though my boyfriend couldn’t make it, this helped put a smile on what was a disastrous day. All the ladies at reception well kind, helpful and accommodating. I can not wait to visit again and this time for longer.

It is a beautiful hotel with the most fantastic view and our junior suite was also great. Food was below average - breakfast was not of a high standard and one morning they were out of juice!! BUT our biggest concern was the the limitation of speaking English. Reunion is telling everybody, that they want to be a tourist island and then it is not good enough, that a hotel of Boucan Canot level have so few people, that speak English - I had a feeling, that we were second rank tourist, because we don't speak French. It is ok to be proud of the French language, but it is a general problem on all French destinations - they think, that French is a world language, but it is NOT!! If they want to welcome English spoken tourist, all staff should be trained in English.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was fantastic – the food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Our room, with a partial sea view, was perfect, especially in the morning with the lovely sunlight streaming in. The beach was beautiful and relaxing, just what we were hoping for. We also really enjoyed the cozy pool area and the great atmosphere there. The bar served delicious drinks, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. A special mention to the front staff, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay – they truly made a difference. We would definitely love to come back!

Nous avons cette fois ci pris une chambre avec vue partielle sur la mer. Moins de bruit qu’au dessus de la piscine Le petit déjeuner est toujours aussi bon et copieux. Les œufs à la demande parfaits Le seul regret est que les vagues ne permettaient pas de se baigner sur la plage principale. Tres mauvaise surprise dans ce 4 etoiles, qui allegue pourtant je cite leur "total devouement". Il n'en est rien evidemment. Sur une mauvaise communication, nous avions reserve 2 chambres en meme temps. Meme en respectant un preavis, il a ete impossible de convertir une chambre devenue inutile en avoir pour le restaurant ou autre. Ils ont prefere conserve une chambre inoccupee plutot que heberger d autres clients. Mauvais calcul. Nous ne reviendrons plus.

Hôtel certes 4 étoiles, mais hélas 5 étoiles sur la rigidité et l absence d écoute et de compréhension. Suite a une mauvaise communication, nous avons en effet réserve chacun de notre cote une chambre. Malgré un séjour antérieur de 2 nuits, plutôt que de libérer une chambre et nous faire un avoir, l hôtel a préféré conserver l argent, et refuser d autres clients malgré une chambre inoccupée, mais payée. Mauvais calcul, que je me charge de faire savoir. Face a tant de mauvaise foi (charte de l hôtel nous a t on dit), nous n'y retournerons plus. Sans regret. On est très loin du dévouement affiche dans la plaquette d accueil. D autres hôteliers plus arrangeants seront heureux de nous aider ailleurs.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette établissement. Ce n'était pas notre premier séjour. Tout le personnel est au petit soin. C'est une équipe dynamique, souriante et à votre écoute. Un grand merci à eux. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien aménagées et très propres. Nous affectionnons particulièrement cet hôtel, pour sa petite taille, son calme, son emplacement, ses équipements et son service mais aussi sur le fait qu'il soit très bien entretenu au fil des ans.
