It's exactly what a weary traveler needs after a long day - a quiet, clean and simple room to sleep in. The staff is also very friendly and eager to assist.

Great value and close to town and beach. Free breakfast is a nice touch, walls are a bit thin so depending on your neighbours could be a little noisy, but bed is comfortable and room was well stated. Would book again.

The property itself was very average, the room was fine with a comfortable bed. Pretty basic in every way (though they did not supply the room with nearly enough toilet paper). Excellent location and parking. I would definitely stay here again for it’s location and ease.

Not good

It really started out badly. The door card key was very finnicky. It was not intuitive and I needed help getting into the room (my neighbor said same). Once I got into the room, the tv wasnt working and needed to be reset. I reset it but it still didnt work. I was moved to another room. Then, I got breakfast delivered when I specifically said, no to. So, I paid for something I didnt want. The location is good and the room was comfortable.

For the price you get what you pay for. It’s right in the heart of Carmel. Great place to stay. Don’t expect a continental breakfast, it was a nice basket of basic breakfast snacks like fruits bars yogurt cereal and an apple. I enjoy my stay and have no complaints.

The room we stayed in is very outdated, the bathroom door didn’t close, the wall were patched in certain places but not painted afterwards and the carpet was filthy. The only positive was the location, it was close to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

This is the cancellation policy as stated on the hotel's website. "All reservations have a standard fully refundable cancellation policy of 72 hours prior to the date of arrival by 3:00pm, unless stated otherwise on the guest confirmation. All reservations cancelled in advance of the cancellation policy deadline are fully refundable." Something came up and we needed to cancel the reservation more than 10 days prior to the deadline. The hotel refused to cancel our reservation. I worked with Expedia and I tried to reach out to the hotel, to no avail. I don't understand what was so different about my reservation, Maybe it was some sort of deal they had with Expedia that makes it no cancelable. Expedia would only say, "Sorry, the hotel refused." The hotel is refusing to discuss with me. So I could only speculate as to the reason why. The lesson here seems to be, don't use Expedia to book this hotel if you must and the price is similar; or don't trust the hotel's concellation policy.
