Lobby was like 85 degrees. Been riding all day coming back from Sturges and walk into a hot lobby. The breakfast juice machine was broken. The halls were 81 degrees first thing in the morning. I expect to have a comfortable stay and this place obviously is trying save money and not concerned about the guests stay. Joe-

If you are traveling this remote part of I 80 on you way to California. This Fairfield Hotel is updated,and clean with a helpful staff. It’s a great place to stop and rest. The gym equipment was excellent and a nice breakfast included. Also the views are quite nice of the surrounding mountains.

Checked-in, went to room and realized it was not what we booked for a family of 4. Was not told at check-in they downsized us to a queen bed and couch. Front desk was not able to provide a roll-away or another room. We left and requested a refund which was never received. Found another hotel. Will NEVER book a room at this hotel again.

As we were traveling all day by vehicle, we were looking for a place to stay for all 5 of us for one room. I put in for 5 adults as my 11 year old son is fairly tall and this room at Fairfield came up. I expected it to have enough beds for us especially for the price we paid but it was only 2 queens in the room, and we were told no rooms had a sofa bed and no fold up beds available so my poor son slept on the floor. No one’s fault at the hotel itself but wanted to make sure that this doesn’t happen again for anyone else. Not sure if it’s a hotels.com error or not. Beds were decent and bathroom very clean. Breakfast was pretty basic.
