Hotel was nice and clean. Close to tube stations and the park. Bed was good and room was OK size. The only problem was the noise from our adjoining rooms. The walls are thin as you could hear their conversation.

I mainly chose this hotel for its excellent location, which didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, I had some issues with the room key card; it failed to work several times, and I had to get it fixed at the reception 4-5 times during my stay. Aside from that, everything was great.

The bed in room G106 is beyond worn-down, has not been replaced since decades. Laying down on it, my lower back was just laying on the board underneath. Really uncomfortable. Other than that, the room has no windows so no chance for natural light or fresh air. I had to book a different hotel in the end. No matter what price they charge, it's not worth it.

Die Lage war gut und das Personal freundlich. Wir hatten allerdings ein Zimmer im UG ohne Fenster und somit ohne Tageslicht (trotz Buchung Premium-Zimmer). Ebenfalls lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig (Flecken auf der Wand, Flecken / Löcher im Teppich, Duschgel leer) und Zimmer war überhaupt nicht Schalldicht.

Great location and staff, old dirty hotel

I hate writing a negative review when the employees were doing their best so would like to mention that first. I arrived to London around 11am and was hoping to just store my bags until check-in but was able to check in early. This was unexpected and a nice start to the stay. The room and bathroom were dirty and not very well maintained. Unfortunately the bed was the least comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I typically don’t struggle to fall asleep on a busy vacation but here couldn’t ever seem to get comfortable. I would not stay back here unless I were unable to find anywhere else for an even somewhat comparable price. At the time, there were plenty of other options that might’ve been a bit less convenient location wise. I would recommend going with something like that instead.
