Awesome place for a romantic getaway

Property was very unique, little dated but that's not really a bad thing and too be expected as the entire town is very historic. Bed was surprisingly one of the most comfortable I've experienced away from home. Jetted tub was extremely large and takes forever to fill but worth it in the end. Stayed in the cliffside with very little complaints I would 10/10 stay here again. Walking distance to downtown and always having a place to park nearby especially during busy tourist days is major plus.

We stayed in the Memories Room, which is one of two rooms on the bottom floor. It was very spacious, with a front room, which was a mini kitchen and dining area. Going back was the bathroom, then the large bedroom, which had a small sitting area deck out back. There were several stained glass windows, which is an added touch. And like all houses in Eureka, there are little old details that give it real charm. The only couple knocks we had was the ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work and the carpet is very dirty and sticky and needs replaced. The main reason I booked was the location. We walked everywhere from the room. There is one parking spot per room. And we had a neighborhood cat come visit on the back porch. Overall a great spot and space, just a couple improvements would make it a return visit.

The place was cute and homey, but internet & TV didn't work each night. Had to notify owner who tried to help, but it took a long time to get it on. Tuesday & Wednesday were not able to get internet or TV at all. Maid came over to address problem, but she wasn't able to get it on either. Requesting a refund because internet or TV were functional as advertised. Deb Flanagan.
