The stench outside when we arrived was putrid. It quite literally smelled like hot garbage. The entire parking lot and entrance was bathed in the stench. Luckily, once inside, it was well enough. The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. We felt very welcomed. The building is showing its age. One elevator was out of service and the other made some disturbing noises as we got to our floor. The carpets in the hallways are dirty and aged and there was a strong lemon cleaning product smell. Better than the hot garbage, so I didn’t mind. Once in our room - it was tidy, clean, comfortable, and everything was in good repair. The shower was the best shower I had after a week of traveling. Breakfast was nice and check-out was easy. For a budget stay, I would stay here again. Great location, easy to get to, close to the airport or other Dallas/Ft Worth necessities.
