Step back in time
Loved the Oliver Inn. Felt as though I had stepped back in time but with all of the modern conveniences. Arriving after dark in downtown Duluth by myself was a little intimidating. I was thankful for the secure garage and coded entries.

Very nice!
We really enjoyed staying here! Such a cool, cozy place. We do recommend bringing a portable fan if staying in the summer, as it can get a little warm (not horrible though). The beds were very comfortable! We definitely recommend!

Fun Little Piece of History
The Oliver Inn is such a cool little place. It’s a destination of its own. The whole building is decorated in such a style, you forget you’re not on a history tour. The location is great; parking is tricky, but not unbearable.
If we ever wander back to Duluth, this is where we will be staying!

Will stay again!
Perfect stay for one night in Duluth. Very well done, keep the charm of the “old” while providing new and updated touches. It’s a little noisy due to the location but over all a wonderful stay. Very clean!

Great Place but not for average travelling bear.
Would I stay here again? YES! Would I recommend it? YES! But Olivers is not for average travelling bear. Must be able to navigate purely electronic text/web based checkin. No Parking so must navigate similarly difficult garage across street with non-functioning elevator. Sauna is a PLUS amenity!

This place was amazing! Great boutique hotel! Old building vibes with fantastic art and history throughout! Can walk to coffee, deli, restaurants nearby and super close to walkway to lakeshore path and Canal St. Grabbed a drink at the new lounge. No front desk but instructions for check-in/out clear and timely. Great stay for marathon weekend (or any time)!

Parking problem
We couldn’t get into the ramp to park so we parked on the street and paid there. then when we could get into the ramp there was another fee. Scetchy area. once we got to our room it was clean and comfortable
