It’s an old hotel, so my expectations were not high for the property. The building met those expectations. Staff is good. Food at the buffet was good. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept clean. One of the elevators was not working. Spent too much time waiting for elevators and they were usually packed. The location was close to the old town center.

El hotel es excepcional, me he alojado en dos ocasiones y el trato siempre ha sido increíble. Tanto los empleados, habitaciones, comida y laa diferentes actividades que ofrecen lo hacen un hotel digno de hospedarse. En esta segunda ocasión tuve la oportunidad de recibir el asceno a una habitación de mayor costo con mayordomo "sin costo adicional". El unico inconveniente que tuve es que al llegar a la propiedad me cobraron un impuesto adicional a lo ya pagado mediante la reserva y que no fue notificado de antemano hasta llegar al hotel y realizar el check in el impuesto fue del 19% por mi pareja venezonalo que tenia su permiso en Colombia pero aun asi cobraron dicho impuestos que fue el total del costo de la habitación y es por eso que le otorgue tres estrellas de calificación. En la primera ocasion que me hospede este impuesto no lo cobraron y fuimos yo y mi pareja igualmente. Pero a pesar de esto tuvimos una excelente estadía, la habitación impecable, limpieza, todo en general. Otro detalle que no es culpa del hotel pero disgusto un poco fue el acceso a la playa que se encontraba cerrado por obras, habia que caminar una o dos cuadras mas abajo para disfrutar la playa y se encontraba muy concurrida.

I want to share my experience to help other travelers make informed decisions. On Expedia’s website, the hotel advertises beach umbrellas, in-room minibars, and an “all-inclusive” plan with access to two restaurants plus the buffet. However, this is misleading: Beach umbrellas and chairs are not included – you have to pay extra. The “minibar” is just an empty fridge – it doesn’t contain anything. The all-inclusive plan only covers the buffet. The other two restaurants require additional payment. So in reality, this hotel is not truly all-inclusive. I find this very misleading and disappointing. On a positive note, I want to highlight that the staff was excellent – very kind and attentive throughout our stay. I hope this helps other travelers and that Expedia reviews this listing to ensure it reflects the actual services offered.

他の予約とあわせ10日間滞在しました。オールインクルーシブプランで、ヌーペリア海側の部屋。部屋も広く景色も良かったです。四つ星ホテルですが、部屋やトイレ、プールやBarが三つ星レベル。部屋の作りや品質が安っぽいし、barのカクテルやスナックがいい加減。欧米の有名チェーン四つ星とは違います。でもコロンビアの、と思えば満足できます。それにスタッフも頑張っていてフレンドリーで、食事も美味しかったです。毎日イベントもやっていますし、キッズクラブもあってすごく活気があるホテルです。家族連れにおすすめで、カジュアルにオールインクルーシブを楽しめます。

Hotel Cartagena Plaza was one of the fewest all inclusive hotels in the city of Cartagena. And I gotta say it didn’t disappoint. Food, hospitality and overall service was exceptional.
