Tolle Lage, wenig Nachhaltigkeit

Tolle Lage, aber sehr kleines Zimmer mit Lüftung nur über Badezimmerfenster möglich . Dies hat zur Folge, dass man entweder im Mief schläft oder aber morgens das Badezimmer eiskalt ist. Wenn dann auch noch nur kaltes Wasser aus der Dusche kommt, ist es sehr unangenehm. Auch ist das eigentliche Zimmer ohne Fenster und hat allein durch das Badezimmerfenster Tageslicht. Wenn man aber auf Toilette gehen möchte, muss man die Jalousien herunterlassen, damit einen niemand sieht. Diese Problem wäre durch dünne Gardinen oder spiegelnde Fensterscheiben gelöst. Beim kleinen Frühstück werden ausschließlich Einmalbecher und Servietten als Teller angeboten. Der Hausservice lässt alle Lichter an und wechselt täglich alle Handtücher. Hier wäre mehr Nachhaltigkeit angesagt.

Convenient location for our stay

Lovely hotel by the river and next to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and let you know about complimentary coffee, pastries and 10% off voucher for restaurant next door. Bedroom did get warm but air-con fixed this. Mattress a little soft and bathroom floor gets very wet when showering

Amazing place

Amazing views from the room. The staff was extremely friendly! The location was short walk from central station, cathedral and a short walk to the chocolate museum. Beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were super cozy. Only negative was the stains on the carpet.

Great location, friendly service, poor breakfast

Liked the location of the hotel and we chose the room facing the Rhine which had a nice view. Enjoyed our stay and the front desk were very friendly. The only reason i did not give it a 5 star is that the breakfast was very poor as it was hardly one at all. We got a coffee and one little pastry which was not fresh on the first morning and none at all the second day. If one advertise it as part of yhe amenities, one should deliver.

Comfy bed and good location.

10 min walk from the central cologne station, facing Reno river and the bridge. Staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Our rooms were from range 304-310 and we had to go to 4th floor, take the first turn on the right, go down two stair lances, to find the rooms (which was odd), but the view was a great, so totally worth it. From 7 to 10 PM they offer croissant and coffee but by 9:30 am it was already over. There are plenty of breakfast options around the hotel. Rooms were small but well-arranged. Beds were comfortable, a small area for work, wifi was terrible. (Had to use my own date to make a video call work-related). Other than that, a good option if you are looking for basic comfort for a reasonable price at a great location.

Rent och fräscht hotell. Trevlig personal. TV:n i vårt rum gick inte att koppla upp på internet så personalen lät oss byta rum utan problem då jag blev sjuk och var tvungen att stanna på hotellet en hel dag. Gratis kaffe, te och mineralvatten på rummet.

The service was great! All workers at the reception were amazing and helpful. The only thing i would like to mention is that some rooms you have to use the stairs so if you have a disability you have to ask for a room with no stairs.

Very bad service

Do not stay in this hotel - they are not to trust. Being part of a group on a business trip, we experienced that 1 room smelled very bad by arrival. So bad that it was not possible to stay in the room. We immidiately informed recpetion, however was told they did not have another room avalable. Solution was that 1 person stayed for 3 noghts on the floor in 1 of the other rooms. We went to recpetion each day, but they had no soltuin to the problem. We requested a full refund as we did not use the room, which we have been denied. Nor have the offered any kind of competnation to us or the persons involved. On top of that, they even lie about it, informing us, that we did not inform reaception about this situation - which we did every day during our stay. Some days even more than once in the hope we could have another room - as well as informing them that we expected full refund. I have nothing good to say about their service.

Very bad service

Do not stay in this hotel - we were a group on a business trip having 6 rooms. By arrival 1 room smelled very bad - it was not possible to stay in the room, Immidiately after arrival we informed recpetion re. the situation. They did not have any avalable rooms for which reason 1 person had to sleep on the floor in one of the other rooms. We went to recpetion all days during the 4 night stay. Problem was not solved for which reason we asked for a full refund. Hotel has denied a refund and are even lying about us informing reception. I have nothing good to say about the service from the hotel or the handling after after stay in regards to give us a refund as well of somekind of other compensation for the totally unacceptable situaion it left our team in.
