I would describe this as a budget hotel, but having said that it suited our needs very well. The location of the hotel was excellent for us, being in reasonable walking distance to both the centre of the city and to the Oktoberfest site. Also the hotel was very close to the railway station and even closer to the Lufthansa Express coach service stop from the airport, which was only about 25 yards from the front door of the hotel. The Lufthansa Express was excellent, costing only 13.50 Euros per person. We got quotes from two taxis at the airport; one of which was 96 Euros (" More if we wanted to go on the meter") and 106 Euros for the second, both of which we declined Apparently taxis are more expensive during Oktoberfest, which this was. The breakfasts at the hotel looked good compared with what was available elsewhere. There was shower gel in the room, but unfortunately no coffee/tea making facilities. Our room was clean and a reasonable size for us (3 adults). Quite a good wardrobe and a safe. The shower was a bit temperamental, but was adequate.
