Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. The location was very convenient, with easy access to transportation, food, and the pier. The windows offered a fantastic panoramic view of the city. Being in the center does make the place a bit noisy - during our stay, there was a biker gathering in the square in front of the hotel, with loud music and revving engines.

Center Hotels Plaza is conveniently located close to Restaurants, shops and some of the sightseeing locations. I enjoyed my stay, my room was comfortable although the housekeeping was a little sloppy a couple of times. The staff was very pleasant - I highly recommend the Hotel.

I stayed at Center Hotels Plaza on my first night in Reykjavik, and Center Hotels Klopp on my final night. If you're a light sleeper, you definitely want this one (Plaza) and not Klopp. I slept well here. If you like to be close to the nightlife, either hotel is a short walk from the action, although Klopp is a little closer. If you want a large hotel room... maybe look elsewhere. I couldn't believe how small the hotel room was when I arrived! However, for a solo traveller, it was fine enough.
