Honest review The best part about this place is the location! We were able to walk to all the major attractions & shopping. Never took a taxi which was great! The host was nice & helpful. But the place could use some updates! Under the AC had patchwork and the walls were damaged. No desk/dresser to put your things. The shower is small & the toilet has a sewer odor. This place is located in a building with other apart hotels/business/apartment. The entry way was not pleasant & dirty. For 2 nights it was ok but wouldn’t stay again. I was with a friend but would never stay solo. I felt catfished by the other reviews & pictures on the site.

The hotel was okay. The location is great. We had great communication with Federica. The beds were comfortable but my feet hung over the end of the bed by probably 4" (I'm 6'3”). I had 2 rooms and neither room had hot water the entire time (4 nights). We had hot water for about 30 seconds and then it would turn warm-ish for 1-5 mins, then cold. The hotel was never able to solve the problem.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel during my trip to Rome and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk from many of Rome’s most iconic sights, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. Being so close to everything made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you could need after a long day of sightseeing.

Excellent location and friendly staff

Communication from staff was excellent, from the directions to the welcome, to restaurant and cafeteria recommendations. Federica was friendly and very hospitable. The room was a bit warm for us, and the ventilation did not seem to be working. That said, opening the window cooled things down nicely. Great location, close to everything. We walked to all the sights from the hotel.

Great Location!

Anitica Residneza del Corso is located in a great spot and is very well appointed. The staff is very friendly and great at communication, though a lot of it was through texting. Check in was virtual and there are stairs involved. It's on the third floor of the building and you either carry up all three pairs or take the small elevator to the fourth floor and go down one flight.

The communication for check-in was stellar, and necessary as it's a bit complicated. It's almost like going to a speakeasy. There's no real sign, just a door where you put in a code to enter the building. Then you go to floor 4 and then go down half a level to put in another code to get into the small lobby area where they had good amenities like a steamer that came in handy! It's basically a room and bathroom, small and utilitarian, but fine for a short stay. There's a coffee machine in the room but I didn't see any cream/milk so we didn't use it. Overall it was good but awkward to get in and out of.

I stayed as a solo (female) traveler here for two nights and it was very comfortable, safe, and clean! The location couldn’t be better as you’re right in the centre of all the action and within a short walk from many main sights (under 10 mins to trevi fountain or Spanish steps, very close to piazza navona and pantheon, right on main shopping street!). The room was spacious and comfortable, and check in was very smooth. Frederica was so helpful and communicative prior to check in and upon check in as well, so it felt like I was at home when I arrived! The elevator situation isn’t great, but they warn you at booking at least. You take an elevator up to 4th floor and then carry your bags to the third floor. It was manageable for me as a small person with extremely large and heavy luggage so it’s not a dealbreaker, and Better than some other situations I’ve had without elevators altogether! I would happily stay here again!
