Better than expected

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. Rooms are a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean. Shower had good water pressure and felt amazing after a long day of driving. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room. I will definitely stay here again when I am passing through.

The room was clean but this is clearly an older motel. It was quiet and the AC worked. Those were the most important things to us along with cleanliness. What we didn't like was some of the other guests were smoking pot outside their rooms and it was noticeable as soon as we stepped outside of our room. They allow dogs for only $10.

It was clean. No bugs. No noisy neighbors. But the door wouldn't stay closed or locked. After closing and pushing on it several times, it would stay shut. But super easy to break into. Just push really hard on it. The only security was the swinging arm latch. There were only 3 other residents on my side. Not much activity. So all was good. But very unsafe. New door knobs had already been installed once. But it needs definite improvement. Other rooms are likely the same way otherwise they would have given me a better room.

I don't know if anyone is actually taking care of this property. The room itself was a good size. The pillows were just tossed on the bed as if someone was in there sleeping and left in a hurry.They we're also totally flat. I'm pretty sure the linen wasn't even changed. The entire place smelled like cigarettes. I'm sorry guys. I checked in super late and was completely exhausted from driving to even complain about the condition of the the room. Our family just made do for the night an left as quickly as we could the next morning. This could be a good place if you take better care of it.
