The Scout Inn is so cute! Recently renovated it is extremely clean and comfortable. The reception desk person was so friendly and helpful. Perfect location for visiting Cody! Definitely recommended!

Tales from a 2+ week business stay... The hotel, at a glance, appears decent for a 2-star. However... The "cleaning" service is on-demand and, after a couple of days, the cleaner seemingly quit. The replacement was not interested in doing his job. The room's bathroom is, shall we say, "classic", i.e. could have used renovations 20 years ago. Then, the toilet broke, and it was not operational for a while. Last but not least, the staff charged our card upon check-in, then authorized every day (on top), then charged again (a different amount) upon check-out. In total, we paid an amount that is slightly different than what was listed on Hotels.com... and still have authorizations for a couple of thousand dollars outstanding. A week after check-out, the authorizations are still pending. We called several times, and were met at first with "don't know, the manager is not here" and later with abject rudeness "it is your bank's fault". Blame the customer, always. In summary, avoid. There are plenty options in town.

Trop bruyant, store cassé (il ne descendait pas jusqu’en bas), pas de vrai petit déjeuner (alors qu’il était affiché petit déjeuner, il n’y avait pas de thé et il y avait quelques muffins seulement), le lit n’était pas super confortable, la climatisation était bruyante ++ c’est pour cela qu’on nous met des boules quies dans la chambre + un masque de nuit. Première fois que je vois ça dans un hôtel. Mais je comprends pourquoi

We really enjoyed our stay at The Scout Inn. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We just stayed for 1 night (unfortunately) but really had a relaxing time before continuing on our vacation.

Nous ne comprenons pas la notation de 10/10 qui nous a attiré dans ce motel banal dont les seuls avantages sont la proximité de Main street et quelques attentions mais qui ne compensent pas le lit moyen, le bruit( on entend tout du couloir et des autres chambres) la douche petite et une chambre pas au standard d’aujourd’hui Et pour finir le petit déjeuner continental est en fait 2 corbeilles de gâteaux avec un Thermos de café à l’accueil sans salle de petit déjeuner ce qui impose de manger debout ou dans sa chambre : ce que les autres hôtels appellent un café de courtoisie . Le pire hôtel de notre Road trip de 16 jours!

The staff were nice and the place was pretty clean. The room was awkward with the toilet and shower room next to the bed. The room was also on the street side. It was very noisy, mostly due to the restaurant/bar located in the parking lot. They had ear plugs in the room, should have been my first clue.

Very nicely done remodel complete with a welcome basket of niceties like ear plugs, eye shades, water, soda can wrap. Bed & pillows super comfy. Only thing I would add as you enter room on left before tv add a wood plank with good hooks to hang towels ,bookbags etc. Also 2 valets for luggage innevery room. Tub was kind of slippy even with slip strips. It might be the body wash. Thanks so muchn you all were so nice ! I.live a clean hotel room.

We always enjoy our stay at the Scout Inn, located right on Sheridan in the heart of Cody. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome every time. The rates are very reasonable, and the hotel offers all the amenities we need—including a convenient restaurant right in front and easy walking access to everything in town. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
