The location was great, few minutes walk from Taksim square. The area is safe and there are a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and clubs. The room was good with comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a fridge. It is good value for Money. I always stay in that hotel every time I visit Istanbul. Good communication with the staff.

I had a wonderful experience at Havana Residence. The place is very clean and well taken care of, which made my stay comfortable from the start. The location is perfect—right in the center and within walking distance of many main attractions. It’s only a 5-minute walk to Taksim, 12 minutes to Galata Tower, and about 10 minutes to Galataport. Because everything is so close, getting around was incredibly easy and convenient. Every time I visit Istanbul, I stay at the Havana residence in Beyoğlu. It truly feels like home! The location is perfect — right in the center, so everything is within walking distance: shops, cafes, and all the main attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the room service lady is simply wonderful — kind, hardworking, and always smiling. The owner is just as amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. I’ve stayed here several times, and the experience is consistently excellent. The rooms are clean and nice. Unfortunately you cannot operate the air conditioner because there is no remote control. Since the building is old, the rooms are cold and poorly insulated. you can easily hear even the slightest sound from the outside and inside the hotel in the room.

There is no reception and it is an unmarked building. Had a really hard time trying to check-in and after calling hotels.com was able to at least leave my bags. Had I known early check-in was not an option I wouldn’t have booked. The side furnishings in the room were still wet from having been wiped down with cheap cleaning fluid. The bed was comfy though and thankfully I went for the premium deluxe room

If you want to experience sleeping in captivity, this is a good place, because I was completely deceived by the hotels.com website, as they accept this type of establishment. It doesn't match the photos at all; the place looks like a Brazilian favela. The price I paid doesn't match the place I slept in. The room is very noisy from the street door opening and closing all the time, and also from the reception staff. In fact, the place even looks like a motel with so many women coming and going at night.
