Wonderful hotel with stunning views of Tuscany.
Pienza is a small picturesque town located in the middle of the wonderfully beautiful Tuscan countryside. Well worth a visit!! It takes about 1 hour from Siena by car and the journey there is very beautiful.
The hotel is absolutely wonderful with fantastic views of Tuscany. It is quiet and peaceful and breakfast was taken with a wonderful view and was great.
The staff very nice and friendly can clearly recruit this hotel.

Great, convenient location for when we stayed to attend a wedding. The room was clean, quiet and spacious, and we really appreciated having access to a pool on the property for a quick dip when it was super hot outside. And the breakfast was varied and delicious!

Great Town, not so great hotel
The hotel it's ok It's a former Franciscan Convent dating back to 13th century!
Depending of the room.it will be room size. The best views you will get from the outside terrace where breakfast it's served
Amazing views of Toscana
The hotel it's located right in the middle of the town Pienza right next to the church
One big problem, it's LOADING AND UNLOADING luggage specially if you have a lot of heavy luggage
Being INSIDE the medieval town cars are NOT allowed in front of the hotel
You must park on streets outside the town wall
That it's about 6 to7minutes walk, uphill, thru pavers streets that could destroy your luggage wheels
Also on that street you are only allow to park for 30 minutes It was a problem for us first finding a parking spot on that street (they were all taken) and then had to unload walk to the hotel with the luggage, and then back to the car within the 30 minutes
The hotel DOES NOT HAVE PARKING so if you are traveling with a car this could be a problem
We had to park in a public PAID PARKING about 30 minute walk from the hotel
No one from the hotel helped us to unload, or load our luggage at check in/checkout
On another note and you may laugh about this if you are SENSITIVE do NOT stay here
My wife and a friend COULD NOT sleep all night long
The place felt being "Hunted" Remember this was an OLD CONVENT MONASTERY FROM 13 CENTURY A lot of thing happened here and a lot of people died here
If you like "hunted like" experiences this is the place for you

Amazing location. If you’re driving to Pienza, make sure you message the hotel to get instructions on what the parking options are as you can’t drive anywhere near the hotel with your bags.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Attentive and welcoming staff with spectacular views over the Val d Orcia. Pienza is our favourite hill town and the cloisters the ideal place to stay. We have stayed on many occasions and will return.

The hotel is in an old monastery in one of the beautiful hill towns in Tuscany Italy. I strongly recommend staying there for the
Hotels most spectacular dining location looking over the Valle D Orca valley. The restaurant was amazing with excellent food. We loved our stay in Pienza.

This property was in a perfect location if you would like to visit Pienza. The restaurant on site - whilst not affiliated with the hotel sits right above the pool so found it a bit awkward leaving the pool and walking through people dining. Their drinks were also so expensive and not worth it - so avoid ordering off them if you are not wanting to spend a lot of money. Otherwise the hotel staff were pleasant and the breakfast was incredible!

The staff was really nice especially when we had a situation with other guest:
During night they played loud music outside their room, yelled and when we told them respectfully to be calm, one of them spitted on us. I don’t know what happens to them after this night, but we got a better room the next morning.
All in all the hotel is okay, but pretty old, the furniture as well.
They have pictures of a terrace online which belongs to a restaurant and could only be used when this was closed. There was no other comfy area outside to relax
