The Motel was clean and the pool was very nice. The rooms could benefit from a bit of a refresh but honestly when you're at the beach, you're not in the room except to sleep - which was good.

My family and I stayed at the island breeze motel over 4th of july weekend. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable we stayed here mostly because we needed a place that would accept our dog, this motel was great for that because it was located just a short walk from the dog beach and close to the boardwalk. I would recommend this place for a short stay.

terrible, terrible! The mattress was old, worn with a hole in the middle. The mattress must be so old as it had broken springs and there was no bed cover. Just dingy sheets with an old brown blanket. The towels in the bathroom were dingy gray and worn out as well. This was the worst experience.

Location is great. Steps from the boardwalk. Location is right at Sams pizza. We stayed across the street at the island breeze annex. The unit was clean, had a large refrigerator, microwave, sink, toaster, and coffee maker. Pool was refreshing and lots of chairs around. Only complaint is with daily service. Room was never really tidyed up by housekeeping, maybe I could have asked for vacuuming. I have 2 young kids so vacuuming is essential. I emptied my own trash in exchange for new trash bags, dirty towels never got picked up but we did get new towels every day.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and everything was in check. The only thing was the shower was tricky to figure out but eventually worked and there was no laundry that was available to guests. The staff was courteous and the hotel is conveniently placed near the boardwalk.

Room was outdated. Comforters were wrinkled and old. Room smelled. Rude staff and guests.other guest kicked our door/banged on door yelling for us to come out all hours of night and early morning. Management did nothing/locked there office door and would not help us with.!we exited early to get away and were heckled and shouted at by young guests. We complained and they refused to give us a refund. Do not stay here they apparent only cater young underage kids !!

The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.Originally we were put in the annex across the street on the opposite side facing a huge solar parking lot. I asked if we could be moved and the gentleman in the office was very accommodating. One thing I wonder is if we were moved to a less expensive room,why I was charged for the original room. The room itself was simply okay. It needs updating. It was horrible but wasn't appealing. The top of the dresser was somewhat sticky. The bathroom seemed clean but gave off a not so clean vibe. There was an envelope to tip the maid service,however, our second morning we left the room and when we came back that afternoon, our room was untouched. We left the following morning so I didn't understand what the maid was asking for. My uncomfortable bed was unmade and the room was untouched while we stayed there. The bed actually crinkled when you lay in it, like there was a plastic liner. The hotel is pet friendly,and I can see that a lot of people with dogs take advantage of that. I would HIGHLY suggest the hotel if you are bringing a dog or two with you. It works perfectly. The pool was cleaned thoroughly on our first night. I was sitting outside the room which was right next to the pool gate (didn't make for much of a view however it was better than the first room). The man spent 45min cleaning the pool which impressed me. Other guests grilled and left the utensils laying there,a hotel worker came and got them in order to clean them .
