Great location in the middle of downtown San Jose Del Cabo. Easily walk to everything in town. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was pretty clean. I would recommend it. I did the single room. But the bathroom was still shared just as an FYI.

Prime Location

I got a private room in hostel setting. The voluteer staff and manager were lovely and the place was always clean. Easy to get to hostel and explore the San Jose area, no towel provided unless you give a 200 deposit and an extra 100 for the key. Maybe make an exception for app/ non dorm clients but its understandable. A/C not the best in room but tolerable.

Davi, and all the staff were so genuine and helpful. The hostel tries to be eco friendly as possible and limit plastic usuage. I only stayed one night but would certainly stay again. The place has a chill, real home vibe.

Staying at the Desert Heart Hostel felt like a warm hug. I left with my heart so full. It’s exactly the experience you would want from a hostel! The room and common areas were clean. The bathrooms are well maintained also. The owner, Davi is so personable and welcoming he’s definitely captured the essence of a community. The area is very safe and walkable with many local shops and restaurants.
