It is cheap, but that doesn’t mean it has to be this bad. Room was cold; no extra blankets and only very thin bedding in November. No soap in the shower dispenser. No bin in the room. I’d precooked breakfast, which was not available when we turned up and consisted of a hastily cut baguette and honey or Nutella. No apology from the front desk who simply said there would normally be none of these problems but we’d arrived too late to point them out. Does the franchise name a disservice.

Rummen ät nyrenoverade(målade) och inredningen bytt. Toaletterna är trolige från en gammal färja. Vi fick ett rum med dusch som konstant översvämmades eftersom det var stopp i avloppet. Hotellets lösning? Byt hotell under återbetalning. Det var inte deras bekymmer längre eftersom dom hade ringt en rörmokare. Personalen i receptionen, oftast samma man oavsett tid på dygnet, är inget vidare. Vi var ett större sällskap och hade 6 rum totalt. Inget fungerade utan något strulade. Den enda fördelen med "hotellet" är priset. Och för oss som älskar Fawlty Towers och Basil Fawlty är det ganska underhållande.

Expérience malheureusement très décevante. Le personnel présent à l’accueil, essentiellement composé d’intérimaires et donc différent selon les jours, a toujours été très agréable et serviable. En revanche, mes échanges avec le responsable ont été nettement moins cordiaux. La chambre était minuscule, avec de la moisissure visible sur la porte de la salle de bain et une aération très insuffisante. Surtout, le bâtiment ne dispose pas de climatisation. En pleine période de canicule, cela devient un véritable problème : la chaleur dans la chambre était étouffante et aucune solution d’appoint ne m’a été proposée. La seule possibilité était d’ouvrir la porte donnant directement sur l’extérieur. Lorsque j’ai signalé le problème, il m’a été expliqué que puisque la climatisation n’était pas indiquée sur le site, il fallait comprendre qu’il n’y en avait pas. Je trouve cette façon de présenter les choses assez discutable : l’absence d’une information essentielle ne me paraît pas équivalente à une information claire, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit de l’absence totale de climatisation dans le bâtiment. L’environnement extérieur n’était pas non plus très rassurant et je ne me suis pas sentie particulièrement en sécurité en laissant la porte ouverte. À cela s’ajoute beaucoup de bruit la nuit, notamment en raison de la proximité immédiate d’une s

La chambre est très basique, mais c’est normal quand on prend une chambre dans ce genre d’établissement, donc rien de négatif sur ce point. En revanche, la location ou le prêt de ventilateur serait vraiment un plus en ces temps de canicule, le mistral étant d’équiper les chambre de climatiseur. Mais le point le plus négatif que nous avons relever, est la présence de cafards dans la chambre. Je ne sait pas si nous avons eu la mal chance d’avoir la seul chambre ayant ce genre de locataire, ou si tout l’hôtel est infecter, mais cela est quand même vraiment désagréable à trouver en entrant dans la chambre.
