Bad experience

The hotel was clean. The clock was broken couldn’t set it. The pool wasn’t open it was broken. No free breakfast which I thought it was. The Starbucks was so expensive you couldn’t afford it. So we went down the road to eat. Bad price for what we all had to experience. Other people was complaining also. Also the Wi-Fi was very hard to connect to. I can complain more but I think I said enough.

This property is very clean. Staff at check in and restaurant fantastic. The issue I have is that I left a dress in the closet and called the next day. I called twice. Apparently housekeeping said they couldn’t find it in the closet and I know distinctly I left it there. They have a lost and found and not there. There is no doubt whatsoever that I left it in the closet.

Not the Marriott Way

My wife and I have stayed at Marriott brand hotels for 20+ years and probably over 100 times. We have always been impressed with the consistent quality of our stays. We call it "coming home." But this hotel did not deliver that experience. The check in person was cold and made my wife feel uncomfortable and the lobby smelled like a bathroom. The room was clean and modern and the bed was amazing (like all others). But the toilet seat was loose and almost falling off. And the shower had no conditioner (the reservoir was out). We were attending a wedding, so this was important to my wife. Our room was not cleaned when we came back the 2nd night. We mentioned it to the front desk as well as the maintenance issues. She said she would make a note of it. No apology or concern. When we came back for the 3rd night, our wet towels were still on the bathroom floor, no conditioner and the bed was untouched. I thought this might be an eco friendly new policy. But there was no signs or brochures to that effect. And the bathroom had instructions to leave the towels on the floor if we wanted new ones or hang them if we wanted to reuse them.

I booked this hotel because of it’s proximity to Tyson McGee airport for an early morning flight. Found out at registration that the free shuttle doesn’t begin running until 7:00 am. The clerk did give me a number to a service and we made the flight on time. I noticed the hotel next door running their shuttle as we waited on our driver. I will stay at that hotel next time I have an early flight.

Handicap...no

The room was a handicap room. The bathroom was not!!!!! The step in shower was great until I opened the door to take a shower and saw only one bar; the shower needs at least three bars!!!! The toilet was a joke...the toilet was not higher and there were NO bars. It was not funny trying to get up. I needed help each time I needed the toilet.

Chris at the front counter was a exceptional host. My wife wasn't feeling good. He made a point of asking about her, every time i walked by. His Professionalism and Courtesy are hard to find in this day and time. He diiently is a true ASSET to your company.
