The hotel was near a metro. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The cleaner on 2nd floor was helpful with our sick child and helped with recommendations. Breakfast was basic but included in our rate. Apollo Hotel is a basic hotel with all the amenities needed for a short stay in Athens. The breakfast options are small but tasty, the location is close to the train station and there is a nice view of the acropolis from the higher floors. If you stay here you could consider catching the train to the city centre, however there are still many nice restaurants nearby.
