Nice, but...
The actual property and covered wagon accommodation was quite lovely. There should be more signage on the main road that tells you where to turn because cell phone/GPS service is sketchy and, one can easily miss the entrance to the property.
My issue was with customer service. I accidentally double booked and paid twice for a one night stay. I tried to resolve the issue with hotels.com who noted the issue had to be resolved with the resort. I spoke with Heather in March who noted she'd see what they could do and just let them know once I arrived. The day before and upon arrival I spoke to different staff members, including Toni, about the issue and a possible refund or resolution. Everyone seemed so nice and genuinely sorry about the mishap but everyone also put the decision about what could be done on someone else. And the person that I needed to speak to never seemed to be available. The front office was closed when I checked out early in the morning so there was no one to speak with. I tried to call later in the day but the cellphone service was still sketchy. Once I got through to someone I was told that I'd get a call back, which I never did. Ultimately, Grand Canyon Glamping Resort was paid twice by hotels.com for my one night, one wagon stay and that's not ok.
