Check in was not smooth. There is no staff on property. I tried to get a digital key but after 3 emails, still no key. Staff we did meet were very nice. We had to carry bags several blocks from the check in area. We were in the Hobbit Hole. The door is maybe 6 ft tall but inside the ceiling is about 12 ft high. There is no window as we are in the basement. It did not appear to have a working smoke alarm, so I almost started this review with DEATH TRAP. I tripped everyday on the bathroom step. On the plus side, it is very convenient and easy to walk to many places.

Room was tiny but with charming ambiance, very vintage. There is no check-in desk at the property but you get digital door codes or can run over the the main office for physical room keys. But great bed, great air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, modern bathroom, toiletries --the water pressure in the shower could have been better but no big deal. The stairs up are indeed steep and a bit rickety, beware if you have any kind of mobility issues. I arrived hours before the room was ready and went to their flagship hotel on Esplanade (about 3 blocks away) to drop my bags off. Carol at the desk was wonderful and friendly. Sat by the courtyard pool for a bit, it was lovely. Easy safe walk home from Frenchman St, comfortable walk into the busier parts of the French Quarter.

Great location! Walking distance to everything we wanted to go to, but in a quieter area. Clean and staff were accommodating. My only complaint was the size of the shower. It was nearly impossible to shave your legs.

I had a lovely stay at Inn on Ursulines. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the French Quarter but still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The rooms have so much charm and character, really giving you that classic New Orleans feel. The staff was kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I especially appreciated the courtyard—it’s such a beautiful, quiet spot to sit and take everything in. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located place with personality, this is definitely a great choice. I would absolutely stay here again.

Staff was as helpful as could be. Was not a huge fan of the stairs, especially when taking in and out our luggage, but that was inevitable. Walls are very thin and you’ll hear everything your neighbors are doing/saying, that wasn’t too great. But the room was perfect size, and very clean.

The pre-register o your phone and down load a digital key thing did not work. There is no one at the property so they sent someone from two blocks away with key cards. The place is a little run down, toilet paper holder hanging loose on the wall, some things that hadn’t been dusted in awhile, but otherwise pretty clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. Temperature easy to control, location close to French market, Jackson square, cafe du Monde,yet very quiet street. The price was reasonable for what you get, I guess.

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The check in and check out process was horrible. We were not warned in advance that we would have to walk 6 blocks with our luggage to check in. No staff at the property. Same process for check out. I would not recommend this place.
