Lovely historic old home. Excellent breakfast! Lots of stairs to climb which was a bit tough for two octogenarians. But it was worth it for the experience and the wonderful food.

Highly recommend

My husband and I stayed here while we visited Letchworth Park. The house is incredibly beautiful and very well cared for. Breakfast was excellent. The owners were very nice and friendly. The garden in the back is well maintained and very relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed strolling through it.

First and foremost let me just say the breakfast was phenomenal every morning. Freshest fruit and lovely breakfast casseroles. Other options as well if you just want cereal, scones, oatmeal etc. Prices have not increased in the last few years so that is refreshing. Having longer breakfast hours would be nice, between 9 and 10 is a bit late if you have a lot on your agenda for the day. More explanation of room amenties would be helpful, we knew there was a jetted tub in the bedroom however we did not know that there was no shower. Room description should say that the tub in the room is the only bathing option and there is only a half bath. Our room had no heat the first night but was fixed the next day. Also the website says all rooms are equiped with TV but ours was not, it is mentioned somewhere else that there is no television but on the amenties page it sounds as though all rooms have tv. So the first night with no tv, no shower and no heat was pretty disappointing but we made the best of the rest of the weekend and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of western New York.

Beautifully restored mid 19th century mansion with an eye to comfort right next to Letchworth State Park and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was just right for me and friends to relax and connect. It has history too as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Glenda and Caroline were very friendly and helpful, and Glenda makes wonderful breakfasts with veggies from her garden.
