Don’t be fooled by the “5 stars” marketing. Nothing about the hotel is 5 stars, but their bad customer service.
1. When we had our first breakfast at the hotel at 8:30am. There was no sight of host/hostess/attendant at the front host stand to check you in because they were all busy in the back corner where the bar area is chitchatting and lounging around having a great time. We then approached them to see if we can get a table, they just stared at us and gave a very indifferent response telling us to sit wherever, and carried on with their conversations. It was such a bizarre experience, let alone with the lack of dining service, literally anyone who isn’t a hotel guest can basically just walk in and sit themselves down for a free meal at this point.
2. The breakfast buffet, nothing was warm from the hot food section, the coffee tasted really weird, the fruits section and some other section were running low and no one refilled anything. We thought maybe it was just maybe an off day for the F&B team, but no, the rest of the next two mornings as well. The breakfast buffet experience were consistently bad throughout with the exact same issues.
3. On the 2nd day when we returned to our room, we noticed right the way the AC had stopped working (which the first night it made a lot of weird noises). We notified the staff, she said she will send the technician (which never came) and I had to go downstairs to remind them again. When he finally arrived which took 40 mins, he didn’t
