2nd time here

The man was really rude and tried to cover up with an excuse but honestly 2nd time I dealt with him and didn’t get any better. He put my card as visa tried a couple times when it was a master card then told me to figure it out because it charged him 25 cents a transaction. I get it and was very respectful but the pool don’t have water, locks didn’t work both rooms, thee attitude and an old man always just just staring out or looking lost was enough for me. I’m sure it’s a relative that is bored or wants to get out but I or anyone else shouldn’t have to feel guilty for it. The place is barely holding on and they cut as many amenities as possible to capitalize is my experience.

Was disappointed by not getting a room on the first floor, my fault for failing to specify that upon reserving the room, but no elevator meant that I had climb stairs. Not a problem normally but because I had just surgery and was the reason for staying here, I wouldn’t stay here again

Stayed in a handicap accessible room. My concern was the bed was high off the ground making it difficult to get into. There was no place to hang clothes. Everything else was good.

The first room we were shown had large dead flies in great numbers lying on bathroom and bedroom surfaces. I insisted on a room change. The second room only had a noisy heater that made loud knocking noises at night. I stayed four nights (my wife was unexpectedly hospitalized and I didn't have time to move) and checked out well before the deadline in the morning. I was unable to get a receipt from the front desk the evening before because 'their machine was broken." When we got the credit card bill, they attempted to charge for 5 nights. When I called, they told a series of lies: first, that I had checked out after the deadline, then that my property had been in the room when the cleaners came after I checked out, then that I had agreed to stay for a 5th night. The front desk is not really open 24 hours. There is no breakfast, although this is advertised. The basic plant and location are very decent, but the cleaning and maintenance are terrible and the management is flat-out dishonest. ( I was able to resolve the attempted fraudulent 5th night charge through the credit card company.) I am surprised at Travelodge lending its name to this enterprise. I still wonder at the large number of fat dead flies: obviously they were killed by some insecticide spray but how did they get in the room in the first place?

We were traveling with a baby and requested a smoke-free room, but the first room that they put us in was right next to a smoking room, so it just smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The second room that they put us in, was absolutely filthy. I had to clean the toilet seat. I had to scrub dried food off of the countertops. The microwave smelled like somebody else's pizza had just been cooked there. there were stains on the ceiling. The floor was so disgusting, that we walked around barefoot, and our feet got black. the walls were dingy with grime. In the bathroom, there was one open socket, and the other socket had a lightbulb, and a fan that was as loud as a big rig engine, and we could see the layers of filth on the fanblades. There was dirt accumulated in the heater/air conditioner unit. Grime in the corners. Somebody's left over Floss pic on the floor... just disgusting. Even when they "cleaned" the room, and made a big show of spraying bleach in the bathroom, the floor was still disgusting. Gross gross gross. Zero stars. Do not book a room there

Meh.

Staff was nice and fast. Room was not clean. Had garbage from previous guest. Liquor and open bottles on shelf. Somme alarm covered with plastic bag, burns on comforter from what looks like cigarettes? Brought this to the attention of front desk upon arrival, they said sorry and said housekeeping would take care of it tomorrow morning.
