We stayed in a suite--sitting area with sofa and chair between door and bedroom area. Nicely appointed. We did not use the swimming pool or spa. There is a pleasant bar with outdoor tables on a patio with a view down to the Adriatic. Breakfast tables are on the same patio. The hotel restaurant was a great deal--25 Euros for pasta, main, contorno, and dessert. Pretty sure that it's the best option in Monte Sant'Angelo, a delightful place to stay in the Gargano.

Good hotel for one or two nights

A nice hotel, super location and stunning views with great staff who really do work hard to please you. However, it appears its glory is fading and it is in need of a refurb. There is a Spa of sorts attached but it works limited hours, so be prepared to get there early if you want to use it. Within the guest areas, you could smell stale smoke and the hotel restaurant was in a windowless small room with limited choice and poor serving staff and breakfast was just awful, has the budget been cut to 50 cents per guest? That said, we enjoyed our stay, the staff are excellent and if they invest some money into refurbishment then it will be a first-class hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and roomy and the bed comfortable and A/C worked well. Price of room was a bit high though, especially since there were no amenities like soap or shampoo or regular towels in the bathroom. (The towels that were available looked more like linens.) The faucet was leaking but the bathroom was far enough from where we slept that the dripping didn't bother us. We didn't want to come off as complaining Americans so we didn't report any of these things to the front desk. It would have been nice -- since the price of the room was so high -- to have a coffee maker in the room for coffee in the AM. The breakfast that came with booking the room was awesome though. Location is nice - close to the castle and sanctuary and the charming town. We didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the spa and were surprised that we would be charged for towels to go to the pool with so we didn't go. 🙁Again, for the price we paid, shouldn't bathroom and pool towels be included? We think so. We slept good the first night; the second night, there seemed to be lots of activity in the early hours of AM (Monday night) and we kept hearing sounds like our door clicking (maybe from air moving through area in hallway?). Air-conditioning was of utmost importance since we visited in August and our room met the expectations where this was concerned. We were shown how to use the TV when we first checked in but couldn't manage to get it to work afterward.

Hotel assez vieillissant, on entend parler les voisins de chambre, un chien dans la chambre à côté aboyait, le petit dejeuner était passable. Par contre le personnel était sympatique serviable, le lieu est beau avec un point de vue superbe. A l'extérieur, la piscine est très belle, on nous impose le bonnet de bain mais beaucoup de personnes ne le mette pas, la règle n'est pas respectée, dommage.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé: L'accueil (nous sommes arrivés très tôt le matin, nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous avons pu prendre un petit-déjeuner (en supplément) et attendre près de la piscine. La grande propreté des locaux. L'amabilité et le professionnalisme des personnels, notamment à l'accueil, au restaurant et particulièrement les personnels d'entretien. La situation aux abords de la belle ville de Monte Sant'Angelo. Le petit-déjeuner copieux. La belle piscine. L'accès gratuit à la plage privée (15km) La chambre vaste, la belle terrasse. Nous avons un peu moins aimé: la température de la piscine (un peu froide, nous ne nous y sommes pas baignés), beaucoup de choix mais manque de variété au petit-déjeuner (pas de changements chaque matin) et l'absence de vrai jus de fruit 100% (mais assez courant dans les hôtels Italiens). La dureté du matelas. Les suppléments (au vu de la classe et du prix de l'hôtel, les boissons du mini-bar dans la chambre pourraient être comprises (deux bouteilles d'eau), l'accès au SPA également), le prix de la navette entre la gare de Foggia et l'Hôtel (100€) (Nous avons donc pris un taxi, car notre arrivée était un dimanche: peu de bus). La décoration un peu surannée. Les extérieurs de l'hôtel auraient besoin d'un petit ravalement. Attention : bonnet de bain obligatoire (vendu 3€ si vous n'en avez pas). Surtout: l'accueil très peu sympathique au niveau de la plage privée (nous nous étions installés sans prévenir le responsable du site)
