Great stay, great staff. Highlights- shower pressure is great, shower is very spacious. Bathroom has heating, and heated towel rail in working condition. Nice mood lighting, good size tv and working sky tv. The older man on the front counter was absolutely lovely, we will come back purely to chat to him again. Highly recommend! Could not rate our experience here highly enough. From the minute we arrived (free parking just steps from the front door) the first impressions were very pleasing We were checked in by a smiling, very helpful member of staff and given a room with a stunning view of the bay. Beautiful Room was spacious, very comfortable and quiet Breakfast was excellent, easily found and served in a room with an excellent view Access to the town and harbour by foot could not have been easier. Great staff, very helpful

This was a great place for us to stay as a group of 5. The continental breakfast was good. The rooms comfortable. My only reservation on giving it 5 stars is that our shower has mold growing between the tiles. We would stay here again however.

Just up from the Interislander ferry and right on top of some good cafes and bars in town. We had an excellent and in expensive dinner which did impress us. Large comfortable rooms with small balconies but we had the only tree right in front of us, so couldn’t see the marina! Other wise a suitable start point for a tour of the South Island

Value for Money

Easy access from Picton Ferry terminal. Had to park around side on gravel because car park was full, not that it was a. Issue, only on luggage wheels. Stair and lift access to rooms. Small king size bed, slept well enough though. TV could only access one station, all other services were unavailable. Large room, clean and tidy. View glimpses of water and harbour. We had continental breakfast included but ordered and paid for extra shot cappuccinos, which we could not drink because they were far to hot and the large cup weakened the flavour of coffee.

The staff was amazing! The room was giant and comfortable. There was a crack in my sink, no big deal - it didn't leak- and some noticeable patchwork on walls. I think my only complaint would be of the clear glass window in the bathroom. I'd frost that or get some blinds for it. I'm pretty sure I flashed some folks in the beiboring hotel!
