I appreciate there were works ongoing but the mess wasn’t contained, there was dust from the builders in hallways and elevators. The room was very dated and could have been cleaner, lampshades in particular were grotty however the most important parts like the bedsheets and bathroom were acceptably clean. Breakfast was disappointing - fruit basket empty, had to ask staff for coffee (only decaf out a couple of hours into service) and ask again for milk which had gone empty. This isn’t acceptable in my opinion when there were at least 6 staff nearby. Staff did greet us but I wouldn’t say they were as friendly as we have experienced at other Hampton by Hilton hotels.

Despite the reviews I read, the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and despite the nightclubs and restaurants close the noise level was reasonable and stopped early. The breakfast was typical but had a variety to choose from.

Whilst they are clearly doing work in the hotel, the quality of room and standard was very poor. If it wasn’t that we were only passing through, we would have requested to move however I’m not sure any other rooms would have been any better. Furniture looked broken, marked, windows all flaked and peeling, beds not comfortable and shower and bathroom not great.

While this hotel is under renovation, it didn’t feel like a vacuum had been run all weekend. The same debris that was in the hallway at check in remained there until checkout two days later. Saturday breakfast was sparse and tasteless, not what is typically standard for Hampton Inn. Sunday breakfast looked better, but we did not partake.

There were 2 dirty wash clothes with hair on them hanging on the shower rod in the room. The breakfast buffet needs some TLC as far as what is served and quality and the juices were all out. The staff was amazing! The staff i came into contact with gets 5 stars! Everyone was so friendly and had great attitudes amd were very welcoming. Lala i think her name was that worked last night made check in 10 out of 10 would recommend.
