I was charged a per day service fee even though hotels.com claims they are including the price, and then couldn’t check in. It took me over an hour to get checked in and was charged an early check-in fee which ended up being 15 min early once it was all said and done. The only person working said they would refund it but that didn’t happen and Hotels.com is no help. Hotel was in a good location to the subway and NYC, and it was clean. I doubt I would stay again due to the issues checking in and the hidden fees.

Our room and common areas were clean. Really nice terrrace(s) to relax with excellent city skyline view, especially at night. We did have room access issues, as well as all the luggage storage lockers were either full or broken upon early arrival. Very nice building manager on-site to help with issues!

This was a great, spacious room in a convenient area - close to subway & bus stops. The coded entry worked great and felt very safe. Plus, the rooftop patios offered terrific views of Manhattan. I wished for a coffee maker and a blow dryer, but found a wonderful bagel shop down the street with friendly service and good coffee that totally made up for those minor inconveniences. Would definately stay here again!

This could be an excellent hotel with a bit more attention to detail and upkeep. The design is nice and location is in an okay location, very close to subway lines. The room and hotel in general were a bit neglected. I (and many other guests) had to wait a couple of hours to get access because the codes sent ahead of time did not work, and may have been impacted by a wifi outage (that lasted all night). Fortunately, there was a staff person on site to help with some of these issues although there were no staff there the last time I stayed. Soap in the shower was empty, bed sheets had (blood?) stains, bed was broken, wifi didn't work. Also be advised that they will charge a $35/night "facility access" fee, although there are no facilities (pool, spa, gym) to access. The roof deck was spacious and had a nice view.

Starting with great communications, location 10 minutes away from 42nd Times Square, great restaurants in LIC and Astoria. Quiet and safe area. What I loved the most is the self-check in. I would stay again @ The Dutch ( Sonder) - #onelove Popi

Definitely get what you pay for here. Served its purpose for a quick trip to Queens where location convenience was needed. Not having any staff on site was very off putting as several issues came up that there was essentially no customer support for.

8/10 Very good

Room and location was good. There is NO STAFF so if you have any issues it’s hard to solve them and there is no early check in. We had to wait 2h until 4pm to get the code to the room.

The check in and out was very simple. The hotel is clean and the room. It's self check in so make sure you get your access code via your email or check the Expedia message center for updated info. Parking is available on the street. There's stores and restaurants not too far in the area so you should be ok unless you want a specific restaurant then you will have to go a little further in long island city.

Not a great experience. When booking it does not mention there are rarely any staff on site and they aren’t in any kind of uniform. Our room had no towels upon a late night arrival and the only way to contact the staff is through messaging. Didn’t get towels dropped off until after 10am the next morning. Safe needed batteries, never got new ones despite two messages. Huge pile of dirty towels left in our hallway for over 12 hours. Just empty we apologize for the inconvenience nonsense. Views are nice and decent location but if you want any modicum of service or a 24-hour front desk look elsewhere. We certainly will.

This stay was more than I could have asked for. After reading previous comments I was a little hesitant but had already booked. Upon arriving early we waited outside the building luckily for us a kind gentleman allowed us into the building. After we waited in the lobby area for approximately 30mins we were greeted by I believe his name was Michael. He checked us in and provided us our codes for the rooms. The views from the 8th floor terrace are phenomenal and worth the stay alone. For my family and I this place was perfect. Queensboro plaza is a short walk to the subway entrance and perfect location to travel anywhere you wish.

Only issue I had was the main elevator was extremely slow, also my room was just outside the elevator and staircase- room could use a little more sound proofing. Staff were amazing, hotel was clean and quiet.
