A wonderful location. Room was good, it was furnished quite basically and the concrete floor was cold. Bed was hard and very comfortable. The restaurant was outside/under shade sails, which was lovely (except when it rained during dinner. They do have an indoor restaurant area too). We didn't use the pool, but it was popular with others. They offer a courtesy minibus down to San Gimignano a few times a day, which was really helpful. The two car parks were spacious. The breakfast had a nice selection of European foods. We had dinner in their restaurant, which was tasty. The chicken pate was excellent!

Our stay here has been a highlight of our trip thanks to this hotel. The property is beautiful, and a very short drive from San Gimignano for when we wanted to visit town. The amenities were excellent, and the restaurent is a must do for anyone staying. The service staff are very helpful and the rooms were above expectations.

The property is set in beautiful surroundings and the staff were excellent and very helpful. However the amenities in the room were basic with no tea or coffee making facility and a totally inadequately sized key operated room safe. The provided small bottles of water in the fridge are not complimentary. The Hostaria Terre Rosse restaurant was excellent. The children's menu was only available from 7pm in the main restaurant and not earlier from the snack bar which was a shame.

We loved Casolare Le Terra Rosse! We could easily explore nearby Tuscan towns in the morning/day and then come back and hang out by the pool or play soccer or ping pong on the property. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The on site restaurant and snack bar served delicious local foods that the kids are still talking about. And the staff were amazing - so very helpful and courteous. Have already recommended the hotel to a number of people!

I don’t think I booked the right place for us. If you’re ultra conservative 50 plus you’re in the right place. Quite disappointed that this place charged us for coffee and water when there was nothing provided in our room. All other hotels of similar calibre we have stayed at have offered this service for free including snacks and sweets. I had hoped for a more rustic appeal. But the rooms and setting at this hotel were very basic and very modern. Really great breakfast. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it.

A HIDDEN GEM RIGHT NEX TO THE TOWN.

This a beautiful property just a short drive from SAN GIMIGNANO. The buildings, and grounds are magnificent. Very well taken care. Rooms were big and comfortable. The included Breakfast was very good Parking it's free and at the property. They have a FREE shuttle service to go to SAN GIMIGNANO, and BACK to the hotel. I ve been to San Gimignano 3 times, it's a wonderful medieval town, BUT parking outside the city walls, it's a pain. On previous trip, for 2 different days we had to wait in line for someone to leave the parking to get into the parking lot. Also it's kind of expensive parking .(more than 20 euros for the daytime) So for us leaving our car at the hotel, and going to San Gimignano and back to the hotel, with the offered shuttle WAS GREAT option. Not to worry where to park, and not waiting in line for a parking spot. The hotel STAFF was AMAZING. Super friendly, they had always a smile, and offer a solution for every request. We were 5 people traveling in 2 cars, One of the people of the group got a room, in an area with an ELEVATOR. The other 4 people, got a room in an older area of the property WITHOUT ELEVATOR, but the hotel staff, HELPED US WITH OUR LUGGAGE, at check in, and at check out. (Thank you) The hotel has an in property restaurant. Kind of expensive, the food was good, but the staff at the restaurant, did not speak much English, so communication was a problem. We will DEFINTIVLY will stay there again, on our return to TOSCANA.
